The only way things will get better is a softening of Muslim ideology and acceptance of other religion or no religion across the board. That starts with Muslim girls being "allowed" to marry outside their religion. Whilst muslim girls are forbidden to have sexual relianships outside their religion violence and hatred towards non Muslims is encouraged.
You cannot even get some of your politicians to condemn the attacks but you think changing the ideological beliefs of 1.5 billion people, 99% of whom don't even live in your country, is the way to go? |

Agree. That's why I keep saying people need to look past Islam and hold their own media and politicians accountable. If you are unable to do that, complaining about how a 1400 year old religion is taking over your country is useless. It isn't taking over. It is being allowed to take over. its not like the Sharia law is so attractive that it is spreading on its own. It is being allowed to spread. The people allowing it are the ones you need to get to.

It's not for us to prescribe the reaction of anyone facing the agony of anyone dealing with the murder of their children. They deserve to be heard with the utmost sympathy.
But it’s not for them to tell us or our political leaders how to react, any more than if they were demanding the return of the death penalty. In our society, we don’t and shouldn’t let victims decide on justice, either way around. It’s not their job and they’re in no position to do it properly. |
