@n88uk
Utter tosh, how can 1 man stand in the way of it, he doesn't even get a vote in the house, he just wants to make the sure house gets a vote, and then I think you find it will be a lot more than 1 vote.

You accuse DrC of posting utter tosh yet go on to post utter tosh about Bercow not getting a vote. Laugh

He doesn't exercise his vote unless it is tied.
By:

In fact given they are impartial they only cast a vote in the event of a tie as otherwise the speaker is not meant to stand in the way of any majority.

So he has a vote and you saying he hadn't was, to use your own words, utter tosh.
As regards his influence which you readily dismiss he showed immense bias in his selection of what the commons could vote for in this matter.

He even went back a few hundred years to find something he could use to thwart the voting process.

A decent pair of silver high heels can put 4 or 5 inches on your height.  Or maybe red.

he's running out of options

Ok bap.   Maybe nice shiny court shoes for work.  That's another option.  Glad to have helped.

As usual I note that forumites ignore the important bits!!  Proper heels make you.  It is so woke.  Although the choice of hats is a moot point.  I tend not to wear them as they are off in seconds.  As are other things.

How many other trouble makers are height challenged - think about it.  Mr Hilter of Minehead.  Stalin wasn't particularly tall. Likewise Napoleon ( a noted trouble maker)

Napoleon was actually about average for the time. Slightly taller than Wellington.

Engelbert Dollfuss was just a tad bigger than Genghis

The height of that Jewish rabble rouser Jesus of Nazareth is not recorded to the best of my knowledge.

I should have known that about wellington - but heels solve the problem I am well over 6 feet when wearing the right ones.  Us lot in the right on squad have really got it going.  No one can say anything or they will end up in jail.  We feel empowered. And tower over a lot of people.  Quite intimidating really.

He is supposed to support Parliament's wishes not the Government unless the Government's wishes are carried by the House. That is what he is doing.

Hitler was of average height.
He used to work on a Bavarian funfair, standing all day holding his hand out to test "you must be this tall to get on this ride".
His friends used to rib him when they met using it as a mock salute, rest as they say, is history.

Out of touch with reality , Like the Tw@ts on here accusing people of being Facists ................

Or perhaps out of touch is Wrong , IGNORING IS THE WORD ........

Any chance you could perhaps post something he has done or said in his role as Speaker that shows his bias and makes his position untenable?

When: 16 Aug 19 09:59
Of course not, you can't expect Brexiteers to come up with actual reasoning, rhetoric is what they're all about.

Bercow is meant to protect the interests of the house, how can it be in the interests of the house for it to be shut down?

"Bollox to Brexit" car sticker in his wife's car BUT is still happy to drive around in it.

Say's it all imo.

deary me , let’s make this clear to any remainers who are confused , including little bercow
Any action is permissible , including peroging parliament , if parliament tries to stop Britain leaving the EU as instructed by the British people
By:
n88uk
When: 16 Aug 19 10:28
No it isn't.

Besides parliament stopping no deal would be doing what the British people want.
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 10:32
N88 you’re a remainer , so your opinion of no deal is neither here nor there
You’re not qualified to comment by definition of being a loser who doesn’t respect democracy , sorry
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 10:35
No I’ll try to explain anyway , if you are not prepared to accept a democratic decision , then don’t preach about respecting democracy’
It’s bad manners
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 10:37
Not to say hypocrital , understand ?
By:

When: 16 Aug 19 10:59
I would suggest some people look up the definition of democracy as it doesn't mean what many seem to think it means.
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 11:05
n88 if remainers are not prepared to respect democracy don’t think that drexiteers have to either

It’s very simple , we voted to leave and 3 years later the anti democratic scum that are remainers are still trying to stop us leaving

So in that light  , don’t presume on the good nature of Brexiteers , it’s bad manners to do so
By:
n88uk
When: 16 Aug 19 11:08
How are they trying to stop us leaving? Majority of the house have been trying to leave in some way for those 3 years.
By:
n88uk
When: 16 Aug 19 11:09
How many MPs have never voted for some form of leaving? Like 60, and most of that is the SNP.
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 11:16
Ah , I don’t give two hoots about how remainer MPs think they should vote , or what renainers  such as yourself think
Get that out of your head for a start
By:
n88uk
When: 16 Aug 19 11:23
You don't seem to give two hoots about democracy either despite saying otherwise, though you do seem to change your mind on most things every day so no surprise.
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 11:25
tut tut there you go again preaching about democracy . What have I just told you about that n88?

Don’t do it , you see when remainers start to talk about democracy something within me starts to laugh , and jeer

Maybe I shouldn’t do that either ?
By:
n88uk
When: 16 Aug 19 11:43
Nothing I want to do is against democracy. Like I say maybe leavers should look up what democracy actually means.
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 11:52
^ lol the ignorance and hypocrisy of remainers knows no bounds

no, no I am not telling lies
By:
n88uk
When: 16 Aug 19 12:03
Any actual reasoning for what I am saying is against democracy or just noise?
By:
lfc1971
When: 16 Aug 19 12:05
Here’s a little clue for you n88, accept the result of the democratic referendum
Or stop preaching about anything else under the sun
Thankyou
