I like a lot of music that's from before my time, when I was seeing a woman who was a fair bit younger than me I happened to start talking about someone who would be considered old for my age group never mind hers. I suddenly realised it maybe made me sound like a right old fart compared to her so I changed the subject BlushBlushBlush

So I quickly did some pressups and showed her how high I could p1ss up against a nearby wall, young manly virile stuff.

Tone lowered to unacceptable level. Appalling scenes.

I love all sorts of music so I can't comment on this as it doesn't qualify.

Just switched over .. see what you mean, she's just talking quietly way down in the mix, with pre recorded backing vocals very prominent ... then when actually sings there are so many overdubbed harmonised back up vocals she might as well not be singing?

Total lip sync, she did not sing at all, the mike was conveniently right in front of her mouth so you could not see.

Say what you like about Liam Gallagher being a bit of a t1t, a single stomping opener like that is better than an entire stormzy set....

I was never the biggest Oasis fan but their mage has aged well. A lot of their stuff is timeless, like the Beatles songs they ripped off LaughLaughLaughWhoops

That singing up to the mic thing, little bit of trivia for you pop pickers, but apparently the reason Lemmy used to do that was it wasn't cosmetic and changed the way his vocal chords were set up and helped him sing lower and grittier notes, something like that, which makes some sense. Maybe Liam is a secret motorhead fan.

music shouldn't even be about politics  tbf ...it's not allowed in sport so why in music ?

That's why Liam always wears sunglasses mouse, after the infamous "seagull stuka" incident of 1995.

Im sure you all know this but The Killers failed in the usa but were signed up in the uk and that is why their music is a little bit British.

Mr Brightside is such a good song, and very original, I can't think of another song that's like it. Which can't be said of most "hits".

We all go through that period where you play a song for 3months constantly(maybe 6), Mr Brightside was that one for me.

Human is pretty special too.
