Half the problem with Shamima Begum and her two friends. May? have been she was not told what is allowed in this country,
Certainly seeing boys her own age. So they run off to join Isis without knowledge of the world, because they see it as an adventure, 2 of them are now dead, Shamima's 3 babies are dead, and we still don't know what with to do with her? This is not much of an adventure. Still it a change seeing some from this forum defend Muslims for a change. I would not want special gay support or anything like that within a school, I would not agree with that I just to make sure they know their OPYIONS, they will make their own choice in their own time, no pushing. |

Do you want mass immigration .do you want gay and lesbian teaching at schools.do you want two different sets of law in your country.these are the type of questions that the public should be allowed to vote on .should people be Allowed to ride their bikes on the footpath.should gollywogs be banned from sale
At least they asked us if we wanted to leave the EU I know they took no notice but at least they asked |

I remember when two retailers who doesn't have their fingers on the pulse went bankrupt because they didnt One was a market stall holder Ali from deli who once bought a container full of gollywogs that were seconds to sell on his market stall at christmas He wasnt bothered that some had only on eye or one leg or two heads or had blonde hair But was made bankrupt when he was told my the market superintendent on the market that he couldn't sell them as they were deemed racist under a law that was passed by the government Then there was a very nice old lady who had a specialist fancy dress shop selling Klu Klux Klan and natzi fancy dress costumes .only to be woken up .(she lived above the shop) to 20 policemen breaking her shop door down and charging her with being racist She thought at first they were in fancy dress because she could not believe that they had sent 20 policemen to arrest an old lady ,when they couldnt be bothered to send a single one when she reported the theft of the blind dog figure charity box from outside her shop |

Re the Dept of Education v Islam:
Can you imagine what's coming in our schools? A bloke in drag teaching a bunch of Muslim kids that they can choose their gender from Heinz 57. This can't end well can it! ![]() |

By:
When I was at school ( C of E) the catholic’s were given dispensation to miss the morning assembly, surely it wouldn’t be that difficult to arrange certain kids missing those classes if their parents wished it?

Maggie brought in Section 28 in 1988. It stated:
that a local authority "shall not intentionally promote homosexuality or publish material with the intention of promoting homosexuality" or "promote the teaching in any maintained school of the acceptability of homosexuality as a pretended family relationship". It was repealed in 2003. So promotion of homosexuality is now part of the national curriculum and as such has to be accepted by parents. Can, worms, everywhere.. |

Brilliant reply Do Wah…..well up to your best
I have been out could not replay earlier Promotion of Homosexuality and Transexualism...well there you have it...this should not happen in SCHOOLS! I agree with Patients concerns Maybe we need Maggies law back Children still need information on this in their sex education lessons and Homophobia(being gay comes quite early in some) must be not be tolerated either |
|
By:
It is all common sense really...or should be?

Promotion of Homosexuality and Transexualism...well there you have it...this should not happen in SCHOOLS! Maybe we need Maggies law back then... Homophobia(being gay comes quite early in some) must be not be tolerated either Complete lack of self awareness by many in this thread. Hopefully none of you have young kids if you're not mature enough to explain to them there are different types of relationships. |
|
By:
No surprise that injera who is prone to loving reactionaries would fall for such coded wording in section 28 and happily supports a law that infringed on gay people's rights, shamed them and allowed for outright discrimination against them.
But hey, at least you don't want to kill them so it's okay? |

By:
God loves all his children. Hiding behind selective reading of the holy bible or qu'ran to justify being crappy to perfectly normal, innocent, harmless children of God is...not cool.
|
|
By:
and so is the prevention and objection towards the teaching of acceptance towards these children of God.

When does education become indoctrination?
Schooling always meant the three Rs, reading writing and arithmetic. Any deviation from that basic model these days, is fraught with danger in the mess we have inflicted on ourselves through liberalism. Liberalism sounds very good but clearly doesn't work. I always say ''when in Rome,'' but Rome isn't Rome any more. Like I said, it's a fascinating situation. |

By:
Homophobia(being gay comes quite early in some) must be not be tolerated either
What exactly is wrong with that aaronh I was unfortunate not to have children, but if I had I would have accepted them whatever their choice, most parent do What parents fear is their child being indoctrinated at school, which I can understand |
|
By:
I think aaranh is wrong to attack injera for his post at 21 May 19 16:49.
I found it quite informative. Without his post I'm sure most of us wouldn't have been aware of that. |

Nothing wrong with that post if it doesn't follow a bunch of homophobia of course. aaronh
agh ..yes I may have put some up in the past...which I apologize forBut not really on this thread, I was trying to sympathize with parents concerns...but in the final analysis it is the child's own choice, as long that is what it is |

This LGBT lark is the biggest bandwagon jump of all time in secondary schools especially, most of it centred on the increased attention and special treatment received the numbers of seemingly 'ordinary' kids switching (or pretending to) would shock most people.
You just need to speak to anyone who is hetrosexual and honest that works in a secondary school and they'll tell you the same, fwiw there is also a big increase in LGBT employed staff at the higher levels in the school system it aint just about Head Teacher/Deputy Head etc. plenty more paid overseers this education lark nowadays. Feel sorry for the real LGBT/hormonally ambiguous they must feel like the rest are taking the pi$$ and trying to steal their thunder. |

must be plenty of kids getting expelled.. taking the p1ss out of these freak teachers

No surprise that you are ill-informed, crippen
Why are you so angry aaronh? We're all here to learn. Opinions are one thing, but information of the kind that injera supplied is always welcome in a discussion of this nature. |
