I think we live in quite a diverse society

Homosexuality has been made legal in my lifetime, we now have same sex marriages

There are certainly plenty of different races about, it is perfectly legal to may someone of another race

As far as sex education is concerned it must be mandatory for all schools.

At the start of secondary school as children are coming into puberty.

Children need to be informed of all the LEGAL options they have in society, so no one in ignorance.

As  children grow up further they will make their own choice, their own sexual instinct will guide them.

I do not want any pressure put them to adopt a certain life style.

In the end evrybody makes their own choice now.

Just my own opinion

aaronh the point about muslim rape gangs is important as we are giving strength, power, platform and opinion to people who think it's alright to rape white girls and women, why should people who hold these views dictate to anybody about in any civilised society?
Especially when their beliefs are 100% fictional and misogynistic.

http://equalitiesplans.blogspot.com/2016/06/different-families-ks1-picnic-in-park.html

this is a link from the blog of the person who came up with No Outsiders with example lesson plans. I think KS1 is school starters.

Starter: Put the word “family” on the board- what does it mean? Who is in a family? Is there one kind of family?
Main: Read “Picnic in the park”. Who comes to Jason’s picnic? Why do they come? How many different families can you remember? What did the families bring to the party? Why did they bring things?
Role play: Place a large rug on the carpet and say we are going to have our own picnic. Show the children the food they are going to bring and ask them to think about who is going to be in their family. Children can put themselves in to any group and be a family or they could come by themselves. Each group / person needs to bring some food to the rug when they come. Choose a child to be Jason (or a girl) and have them welcome each “family” to the rug. Each family should introduce themselves as they arrive- this is Mum, this is auntie / my brother etc before placing their gift on to a large tray and then sitting on the carpet. Once everyone is on the carpet share the food.
Activity: Who is in your role –play family? Children draw and label each person.
Plenary: Did Jason turn anyone away from his picnic in the park? No! He made sure there were no outsiders! And there were lots of different families there- some with one Mum, two dads, a mum and dad, foster children etc Everyone was welcome!
Return to the family used in the starter. Who can be in a family? Is there only one kind of family?

lol. has anything in this thread i've posted suggest I support their stance here?

Plenty in this thread spend all their time raving about an intolerant/bigoted/hateful religion and then display views that put them far more in line with these people than anyone else in society. Shouldn't they be aiming a bit higher?

I'm not sure what the issue is here unless there has been a misunderstanding.

I'm showing that *this* is the kind of thing people are getting outraged about, when it really is basic stuff.

I can extend the second part to "Shouldn't they be aiming a bit higher [than being a tiny bit better than this group of people]?" if that helps you not to provide another strawman

That's a given aaronh I've never ever considered myself on the same level as any type of racist and pointing out the wrongs of any particular group doesn't change that,it is you who tried to put people on this thread on that level:

[b]Plenty in this thread spend all their time raving about an intolerant/bigoted/hateful religion and then display views that put them far more in line with these people than anyone else in society.

They don't have to aim higher they are already above you should know that instead of posting the shyte you posted above.

The vast majority of families are one father one mother 2.4 kids

Of course we know ther are other familes, one parent familes, mixed race familes, or familes with tww fathers or two

mothers, or even communal families, we used to have.

I think the important thing is to encourage the idea od family and how they should all interact together.

I think children who have other type of familes, they must not be excluded, but it is important to emphasise the family side of this,

because these rules apply to all.

Dont emphasize the differences too much at an early age, that will come later when children understand a bit more about life and sex

Maybe we even agree on this one aaronh?

It really isn't that difficult but you still seem to not be grasping it. I don't think you've posted anything regarding LGBT issues in this thread, just some early wibble at the top.
