You can clearly see what May is up to with these talks
She has it come out as "productive" etc etc And then blame Corbyn if nothing comes of it, she must think we were born yesterday ffs |

Lords going with the Gov motion. Good, more pressure on the ERG to do something, stand up & fight for what you profess you want, or fade into oblivion taking Bojo & Javid with them

The inevitable outcome now really is a secod referendum - the pertinent question now being, what exactly will be the questions/options on the ballot sheet? I would laugh if it didn't include no deal as that would mean it will Remain v May's deal AKA Remain v Remain 2.0. MP's who are 75% remainers? would lobby for no deal to not be included, and whicever way you voted, the last few years would have basically been a complete and utter waste of time. Either way the sooner the charade is over the better. Tired of these dowdy old political anorak's on BBC, Sky and all of their middle aged hack guests salivating over every twist and turn as well as the peripheral, largely irrelevant figures making a career off of the back of it and that does include the likes of Owen Jones.
Need to get back to every day issues as the wall to wall coverage has overshadowed everyday issues. Might also find chit chatters get on better as well ![]() |

good points scanda; but there will be no 2nd ref. It will never get through Parliament. They can threaten it, hype it, makes no diff, it won't happen

They are such advocates of "democracy" they continue to delay what democracy voted for, and they blub for another vote until they get what they want
Sums up the f****** world we live in "what if its the same result, you'd cry for another ref" - "no we wouldn't we'd respect the vote this time" How childish can you get Yeah right. it makes me laugh because most of them are blubbering uni grads that are crying for another referendum, and the rest of them are higher ups in companies ![]() Nothing to do with their bank balance though... ![]() |
|
By:
The reason its a mess is because the politicians wont honour the vote
So if it came back leave again we'd have another 2 years of this and they'd ask for another "peoples vote" ![]() "peoples vote" ffs, yeah because you accepted the previous one didn't you ![]() |
|
By:
Another delay incoming because they can't accept the vote
I keep saying it but its high time they were kicked out |

if there was the slightest inclination to get her out, she'd be gone. They don't have to wait another 9 months like the MSM keep preaching (the public is stupid we'll feed them this sh ite today) i'm beginning to think they are all complicit
there won't be a ref2; it's just a tool used for effect. Btw, SS what was my price for a 12 month extension? She releases a letter asking for a short ext, on the very day Tusk offers a 12 month 'flexi' extension. What an utterly amazing coincidence; she never saw that coming did she so she tells her Pary, "ooh look, not my fault, Tusk wants a long extension, time to bend over again" |

By:
I want to punch them in the face, no point arguing the t*** with em, just thump them straight in the face and casually walk off
|

By:
i forgot to add; when did we revert back to the pony express to contact each other?
|
|
By:
Farage just ripped the silly journo on Sky a new lip; i'd love to take him with me to discuss 'terms' with the bureaucrats when i'm PM
![]() ![]() |

It was pretty large, bap?
So they've gone from "no extension" to "you can have as long as you like" ![]() A bunch of disgusting bas*ards |

By:
if the mp,s who,ve drove the reff train wont sign up to it why should anyone else, they won the vote and now trying to welch on their number one reff promise of leaving without a deal, anyone mentioning leaving without a deal during the reff was sacked, removed from the campaign on the spot
|

nothing surprises me anymore, 1st TP, they all should be put in a Gulag
1.01 i think SS ![]() |

By:
Yeah a large
![]() The media can't even rap their heads around gender pay gaps, what chance have we got of getting any sense out of them when it comes to this ![]() Close them down is the only solution now |

the whole thing is a mess

By:
Farage is another little weasel isn't he
![]() I'll stand in election but I don't want to" We are in retard land right now Nothing is what it seems |
|
By:
None of them want out
All of them are making a fortune with this carrying on and on and on All of them need sacking |
|
By:
i'm beginning to agree with that concept. Farage has one thing that will be useful in future. The EU hate him!
|
|
By:
There's no other reason to "extend" it a year other than its awful theatre and a money spinner in the futures market (trading the £ etc)
Its one massive con for the rich suits |
|
By:
This would have been going on for 4 years next year and we haven't even left in name only
![]() |
|
By:
I mean if people are that apathetic why not push this out 10 years?
Until people start rising up this wont stop I think they think its good for another 2 or 3 years this |
|
By:
All of them are making a fortune with this carrying on and on and on
It was pretty evident when they started the debate about hard and soft brexit, that they intended to milk this as long as they could. Then they came up with the meaningful vote. Then there was the second meaningful vote. Then there was the third meaningful vote. When its this easy to fool the people, why would you solve an issue that you can milk so easily? |
|
By:
politics (yes it's true) has never been so popular; i know it drives most of us nuts, but if you are on the periphery; then lifes never been so good

Gotta love the "Brexit happens in 7 days 4 hour" clock though, like that actually means anything
All they have to do is "change the law" which strangely takes all of 5 minutes Yet they can't change a law that doesn't really benefit them for a good couple of years ![]() This whole thing should have exposed their games ![]() |

more extensions are handed out than in an Essex hairdressers

By:
Its such a mess you've got remain voters whining because there's not a "remain" option in a 3 way vote, seen as "remain" lost the referendum why the f*** should there be a remain option ?
You're immediately met with the "childish" tag if you point this out, and when you ask them if remain wins then its 1-1 and we go to final decider? its met "why would we have another vote if remain won? you'd have lost so get over it" Speechless |
|
By:
I dare say both sides are pathetic
But the "remain" lot are taking the moral high ground, spouting "in the name of democracy" and yet they refuse to accept a democratic vote and are demanding it gets scrapped You couldn't make it up ![]() |

Labour got nothing from the Government today; Starmer not impressed. Well get used to it! Bring her down Jezza; jump off that hook now
|
|
By:
Labour sources separately highly suspicious about the total lack of Cabinet resignations that would be expected if PM serious about softer/ CU style compromise
aye, me & you both |
|
By:
no meetings planned this weekend for the new alliance in British politics. Beware the long dark path you are being taken down, Jezza
the nodding dog however; has said this: Chancellor Philip Hammond has said the Government has "no red lines" as they hold crunch Brexit talks with Labour. Speaking at a meeting of finance ministers in Romania, Mr Hammond said there may be an "exchange" of text with Labour on Saturday, adding that "we are holding every possibility open". He said: "We should be open to listen to suggestions that others have made. "Some people in the Labour Party are making other suggestions to us, of course we have to be prepared to discuss them. "Our approach to these discussions with Labour is that we have no red lines, we will go into these talks with an open mind and discuss everything with them in a constructive fashion. "I am optimistic that we will reach some form of agreement with Labour." which, funnily enough is not what the Labour Party are saying |
|
By:
as others have said from the lack of resignations pretty clear this i about the lamest possible attempt to try and shift some of the blame for this fiasco on labour. probably another of robbins bright ideas

Both May and Corbyn are high profile politicians. They wouldn't have publicly announced to sit down if they hadn't already agreed on something beforehand. Otherwise there's the risk of one of them coming out as a loser which is too big a risk for both of them to take(even though I am sure some of you would say they are already certified losers)
Brexit is a milking machine and they are milking it alright. The only question is what to feed the public next. |
|
By:
May is taking credit for "reaching out" to Labour
Well yeah seen as shes the pm and so called "leader" in these so called negotiations Living in cloud koo koo |
|
By:
i'd be very worried if i was Corbyn. Just think what a hero he would turn into if he brought the nutcase down. You know it makes sense Jezza
