latest: a brextit motion is being planned for tonight, as the commons has a load of interventions being done on current debate to delay it until motion is put to Bercow, don't shoot the messenger!

if anyone is wondering why no news is filtering through & hasn't for hours, that's because the naughty Cabinet ministers had to give their phones up/turn them off at 9:30 this morning
By:
thoughts; she has just cost the torys the next 3 elections at least. I don't expect any resignations from the Cabinet because as i've said a million times before, there are no brexiteers in the Cabinet. Baker & co have a major decision ahead of them; & the nutcase has tried to close a door by trying to get Corbyn onside. The tory members will be apoplectic with her; & that will run. A superb bit of can kicking by the nutcase
By:
overall winner - Corbyn, who must be onhis 3rd flick by now. He will now have both sides of the tory party offering him cake. Thatcher will be spitting bones in hell
By:
We know who's to blame
An absolute disgusting joke from the lot of them May is one pathetic piece of s*** |
By:
We've had 2 years of this, and she wants another 2 years
Said it many times about her needing to be binned but |
By:
...my thought was corbyn was loser
any election is his fault, she tried blah blah think she should just go, let somebody speak to corbyn |
By:
how is Corbyn the loser Donny? (now on his 5th flick)
By:
She's trying to palm some of the blame onto Corbyn and Labour
![]() Her vote is a disgrace, its her "deal" not labours, and nobody wants it ffs Do one May |
By:
you should be happy, SS at least we now know her baby is dead & buried
she can try & blame Corbyn but it won't wash as even the dimmest Tim would know what she's intimating |
By:
i've been saying it for weeks; Baker has this in his hands
By:
Her deal might be dead, bap
But we still might be getting hold to ransom with another of her "extensions" Its time to boot her out |
By:
for anyone thinking no-deal is dead (wishful) no it isn't. It may be dead with the nutcase, but she has to stay
By:
i just dont see her and corbyn agreeing, they hate each other.
then again , she must already know what he will offer, hes said it often enough and her side wont accept it hey ho, can kicked into tomorrow |
By:
has he not got the slightest chance of demanding something from her?
By:
Say yes but not with you theresa, once your replaced I will happily talk to the next leader
By:
not a bad call that, SS it happened in 1940 with Attlee
By:
I saw it on Twitter and thought it was good
![]() |
By:
Whose idea was it to hold a referendum in 2016? Cameron?
By:
what can he ask for, that she would not have already offered.?
i mean she could have kept it in house with boles and clarke plans |
By:
good god SS & i had just promoted you to chief doer upper
![]() |
By:
by saying no extension past 22/5 she knows no deal is well in play, by then they have to pass her wa or we leave without a deal (it's a trap). will the eu give a short extension? they could insist it's longer so we have to hold ep elections.
By:
he can ask for anything he wants (in theory) he will know what she's up to - or should; & can push his own agends' Doesn't mean she will deliver, but bluffing is a dedicated art at the moment
By:
correct Mr Swagman, a pity the political journo elite don't see it
By:
anyway Donny; she is in last knee saloon, if she had offered anything & i doubt that; then now she may have to
By:
This debate, this division cannot drag on much longer" so i will boot it uphill once again
By:
so far every thing she has done has been about keeping the tory party together, why would she suddenly decide to put the country first?
imo the eu wont fall for it so will say a longer extension or maybe they have had enough and so will just say au revoir. |
By:
you have to give it to Sky, when they finally get an ERG member on they get one that beiieves in her deal
![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
would i love the EU to do that, not a chance of the bastards doing it mind. I have just given my thoughts to the ERG, lets see what happens over the next 24 hours
By:
that sounds very pompous, it wasn't meant to. I should have split it up
By:
my god now Sky have got Fina Gael on
By:
Kueensberg:
cabinet source suggests 14 ministers today were AGAINST PM’s idea of asking for another extension, with 10 backing it the liar Gove comes on BBC & says the Cabinet were agreed. Someone should have shown him the numbers |
By:
Rumpole a traitor as well
By:
do you believe the only version of brexit is leaving without a deal? what is wrong with eea/efta?
By:
now Loathsome jeez
By:
no-deal is the quickest way out; and will lead to better trade arrangements. The Norway deal is sh ite & EFTA, i might be persuaded with, but not until last - last minute
By:
but we would soon be going back to them with even less leverage than we have now having overnight left all the treaties and so erected a whole host of barriers to trade. there is nothing clean or certain about leaving without a deal.
the people in parliament pushing eea/efta havent got a clue what they are doing, it isnt an off the shelf answer its an adaptive framework and would take several years of negotiations on top of which we will need dozens of bilateral deals covering things it doesnt include (fishing). no ecj, no cfp, no cap, no cu, meaningful negotiations on anything new proposed by the eu - in extremis we could ignore anything we didnt want to accept and they could only take proportionate retaliatory action. efta countries have over 1100 derogations from eu rules. norway is only subject to 27% of the eu acquis. these countries can do their own trade deals either alone or together, they have dozens of them. articles 112/113 offer a way around free movement. |
By:
you would have to believe in the fairies if you though there would be barriers to trade
By:
so you think we will just carry on as now?
By:
you mean in limbo?
