She is not from East Pakistan which did not exist when she was born. Her mother is from Bangladesh. She does not have a Bangladeshi Passport, well ashley that is contentious. Some say she has and that is being taken as Gospel.
This is set to run and run. Her citizenship I do not believe has been cancelled yet. She still has to get out of that camp and get back to Blighty though somehow I fear there will be someone who for whatever reason gets her here. There is a lot of conflation of fact and fiction on this thread. |

at one stage yesterday i thought it was clear then i saw the bbc give two different versions of events last night, so i am uncertain again. seems the home secretary has interpreted bangladeshi law to suit the decision to strip her of uk citizenship, court cases seems the only thing that will definitely happen.

Absolutely. We seem to be living in an alternative facts World now and people believe what they want to believe and claim it to be the truth. Of course God is on our side too.

Either way she will , in all probability , be smuggled back into the country and given a new identity in addition to all the trappings that go with it .
Her and her family get what they want and the government is back in the peoples good books . |

I don't think so Reynard. I dont ashley think they can refuse her entry if she comes back. The best she can hope for if she does come back is to get arrested. I really do not think it would be safe for here. The Bangla's don't want to know and why would the Dutchie's?
Is she in detention in the Camp she is in? I think there is a dawning realisation that we don't want her back and the enormity of what she has done is begining to present itself. She is still at the feeling sorry for her / selfish stage. I am intrigued to see if she realises what she has done. |

Bangladeshi minister saying she doesn't have dual citizenship
![]() |
|
By:
She's unhappy the British government revoked her British citizenship without speaking to her 1st. How arrogant was that? I'd have thought it was blatantly obvious (publicly) about what she got up to whilst in Syria, and who she was supporting. Also, I believe it was reported the interviewer asked her if she'd dual citizenship, and she refused to answer.
|
|
By:
In fairness , whisperingdeath , if I am indeed correct , we will never know .
I'm just uncomfortable at the speed with which they withdrew her citizenship . Almost as if they were looking to gain favour with an outraged public . Took the emphasis off Brexit for a while though ![]() |
|
By:
I wonder what gives her the sense of entitlement that it was perfectly OK to leave Britain (in a cloud of publicity) to be a Jihadist, be completely unrepentant about her actions, support the Manchester Arena bombing, be unfazed about the horrendous things she was part of, and then when the fancy took her, to demand the right to come back to Britain as a Jihadist, presumably to live at the cost of the taxpayer?
What is so special about her that makes her think she is justified in having these views? |
|
By:
What strikes me as odd in this though is apparently 400 or so have come back to the UK - a horrifying amount. Is she seriously the first one that they have thought about stripping citizenship from?
|
|
By:
No, I believe it's been reported several (jihadists) have had theirs revoked too without any publicity, but in her case the interviewer just happened to stumble upon her.
|
|
By:
I still wonder why this story is even in the news.

Hopefully we stick with this decision and don't let her back.
Watched her on bbc news tonight, nauseating person. Looking for sympathy saying "After everything I've been through" whilst trying to justify the Manchester bombing. |

They want F.A to do with it , Good move

TBH I have not heard of too many Bangladeshi people involved in Terrorism
|

They're mainly involved in making cheap shoes.

Revoking her citizenship is the first thing a British politician has done in gods knows how many years that has any common sense in it and all sensible people can agree with...
|
|
By:
OF course she shouldn't be treated different due to her "celebrity", every one who went off to join these scumbags should have life made as difficult as is as possible.
The law should be even handed. If they don't have a nationality, stick them on some island somewhere where they can pray very hard for deliveries from Just Eat. |

I'd like her to lie on the bed she's made for herself, and stop trying to justify why she joined ISIS and their barbaric behaviour. Hopefully as a result of the action taken by the British government she does stay incarcerated in the Syrian refugee camp for the foreseeable future or until her child is of schooling age. Maybe then her views and support for ISIS are no longer as repugnant as they are now. But at this juncture she'd be a threat to the safety and welfare of the general British public.

She had a face like a smacked arse today, but surely she didn't actually believe that her first interview went well?
|
|
By:
Sorry didn't read much of that thread, then it was deleted. THat's just great minds thinking alike, inspired by the flow :)
(I'm surprised that thread was allowed to last tbh!) |

Can't believe she's feeling sorry for herself and is hard done by.
She went to join b&stards who were beheading people for laughs, locking people in cages and setting them on fire, and getting little kids to execute people. They'll go down in history as one of the most evil groups humanity has produced. |
|
By:
Oh and lets not forget what they did to the yazidi women.
|
|
By:
DOesnt matter what you think, the EU law means she be housed in the uk shortly.
I guess she was born in Syria, so why cant she go back ? |
|
By:
What precisely would happen if we ignored the EU on such a matter anyway I wonder, if it is the EU that would get upset. Would we get fined? So we don't pay it. Tell them to **** off. Would they then impose trade sanctions, damage their own economies to product the "rights" of this disgusting individual?
Surely it would be easier for Mother Merkel to just offer her german citizenship and give her a cuddle? God knows that awful woman has already filled her country with enough people with her beliefs, a couple more won't hurt. |

keep her out

How will she go to prison, who are the witnesses ?
This is played out drama sponsored by soros and his ilk, with the left wing media lapping it up. |

The legal process will take years and, if we leave as expected. the EU will have no jurisdiction over us.
|
|

I think it's international law though not EU, but I'm not aware how it is "enforced" from what I can see.
I think the problem is most likely that we wrote it into our law to try and mirror their law, and we might break our own law. The media are trying to say the fact she isn't bangladeshi is a "scoop" but that's AFIAK typical dumbed down media in 2019. (Oh how I hate our dumbed down media). My understanding yesterday was she had a bangladeshi mother so COULD become that nationality, not that she WAS. |
|
By:
By their law I mean "international law"

Perhaps one way out would be to acknowledge is as a real state, and give it a piece of land 100mx100m on a rock in the atlantic, then dump them all there.
Preferably one with lots of sharks round it. |
