according to a pundit reviewing papers on sky last night ,pooh poohing consoiracy stories she said she,d seen footage of the drone on sky,the sky interviewer went silent, do we take it sky just put up any random drone footage in the sky and let the viewers assume it was the drones in question,as the police have said theres no footage of an actual drone, why arnt sky been hammered by government and police

to have a conspiracy, 1st TP; they all have to be in on it. That's why no 'serious' questions were asked by journos for 3 days. I pummelled some of them on twitter & got not a jot back from anyone. Silence is golden

The suggestion there may not have been any drones at Gatwick Airport was a "miscommunication by police", a government source has told the BBC.

Laugh

Anyone prepared to go on record they saw a drone? Laugh

So there was a drone, then no drone, now back to there was a drone again but they can't be sure?

Crazy

Every single one of them should be sacked without a pension, their homes taken of them and they should thrown onto Universal Credit

If we even f*** up one time at our workplace we are out of there but not this lot, who have a lot more responsibility ffs

yesterday the police said it was of limited use for evidence because of weather conditions etc, which suggests it didn't fall out of the sky recently,100 sightings,1000,s of police, army, security services, 2 millions worth of tracking gear but we,re led to believe a drone fell from the sky like a butterfly and wasn't seen ,detected by anyone in the vicinity, must be a million the drone was one of those involved if any drone was involved

They can't shake this story off atm

They keep trying to move onto something else but I think they made a right **** up involving actual citizens on masse like this (in regards to the airport)

Plus arresting 2 innocent souls as well, obvious their family have kicked up a right stink

They are talking about bringing in drone detecting technology to try and softly get us on board

There was no sodding drone though? or was there but we ain't sure about it ?

Spending millions on technology? who's going to pay for it?

How about you use your sodding eyes ffs Crazy

'a' level history question in 100 years from now.

Brexit and drones were the main factors in the Second English civil war breaking out . Discuss.

One can see stars and their cousins a few thousands miles into the sky with a powerful telescope. How could it be possible no definitive id of a drone (video, etc) available despite so many sightings over two days at least? Did no one think this could prove helpful to determine id of the sightings? Surely, Gatwick Airport and authorities concerned could easily obtained  telescope for this purpose.

Maybe there truly was no drone being flown on those nights, but merely ufo that looked like "drones" from afar, or inexperienced or dodgy eyes of drink induced individuals.

sky once again showing their drone footage but no mention of who and where it was taken from, initial sightings could have been correct those involved had it on their toes and subsequent sightings hoaxes, would give them 2 days start on police to get away cover their tracks

It's a great story to deflect away from other goings on.  The media love a scare story to go for.
By:

When: 24 Dec 18 15:59
a favourable interpretation is that the press were asked not to discuss the lack of any real evidence of drones as it would not have gone down well with the thousands sleeping on the floor at Gatwick and may have created a hard-to-manage situation

That idiot Chris Grayling the transport secretary and Mr Teflon when it came to the Northern Rail Timetable is just the kind of dithering self serving inept minister that we now come to expect. He's strangely reminiscent of the Vicar in Dads Army.

the more you can obfuscate, produce scare stories the better

it does deflect away from what is really happening in our society and strangely the politicoes get away with it

and not just the mps  but the whole miserable civil service     --   self serving service it should be called

why do you think the foreign and colonial office is so pro remain

a white couple are arrested by polis and held for 36 hours with NO evidence and details splattered all over the media to signal they are totally involved and active  (BUT WITH NO CLUES OR EVIDENCE - in fact lots to the contrary)

a 19 year old MAN drives into some pedestrians - maiming them - but no pictures ???

can anyone explain why this is the case.

no  - I am asking fore explanations for why one has full face pics of one and not the other

why the difference - like the cliff richard experience ??

I do have an explanation for the supposed drone incident but am too p!ssed to go into it except to say that

in the military there are automatic responses to a sighting or a report which one reacts to IMMEDIATELY.

I am assuming the police do like wise and so do quasi military/similar, like airport authorities, and personnel, respond in a similar manner - hence the EXTREME c()ck up if you follow.

They then have to try and justify their actions and people within the organisation will attempt to do that.

But quite honestly this must be one of the best over reaction upc()ks for ages.

remember the 'I was only following orders' excuse

ps  in the military you are NOT  allowed to disobey orders

I assume it is the same with the polis  (although I have no experience of serving in the polis)

It seems the authorities are still adamant drones were in abundance that caused the shutdown of Gatwick Airport to in-coming and out-going flights for 3 days. And now they have drones detection system in place to combat these electronic rascals; £5m spent on equipment and technology to combat this flight nuisance. I wonder if money spent included the purchase of a powerful telescope.

But still no physical evidence of what caused 3 days of disruption at Gatwick Airport.

why no pictures of the two manchester rapists then ??  ah  hang on - described as two men - I get it now

pic on two persons of colour not too far from the airport  with zilch evidence and - wham there you go

stick 'em right in the face of the public to prove something was being done

but then there is an agenda

Should be heading down there in large numbers and demanding proof imo

No proof and its an immediate citizens arrest, loss of job, benefits, pension, and a bank freeze of all assets etc

Thrown onto the street and told never to apply for a job in this country again

That would put an immediate stop to this filth going on

but we had the culprits splattered all over the media within hours of arrest

why do we not have this every time people who threaten our existence are collared ??

except they are not - so as to not upset the community they are from

but fk the crawley community eh!!??  nothing racist about it  - oh yes it is most definitely

just to show not ALL terrorists are from one group

but they fkd up big time here yet again

but we can't show the faces of the MEN - it is always the MEN - as soon as I see that I immediately thing of

who the group is that indulges so much as part of their culture

we are losing - but I think you know that
