I did too Capt_F , I had plenty of dealings with Flying Squad back in the day and they were decent blokes but more recently I've grown to loathe 'em . Corrupt from top to bottom . I fully understand layemall leaping to the defence of his ex-colleagues but even he must be becoming more aware of the public resentment (regardless of class or ethnicity) .

Must be difficult for them nowadays, trying to do a challenging job with a feeling that their hands are tied behind their backs(orders from above).....job satisfaction must be at an all time low for some of them .......
