I don't know which is worse: The fact that this woman is still deemed suitable to be a university professor, or her employer's subsequent statement.

^ Academia and the Judicary are under the control of looney lefties in America and EU.
Thats why they are trying every trick in the book (and not in the book even ) to stop conservative leaning Brett Kavanaugh from getting into the Supreme Court.

What a useful idiot for the elite this professor is. Goodness me it's so transparent. No one who truly supports a cause such as feminism could come up with a statement so laughably vile?

Trump mocks the Ford testimony at a rally, days after saying that she was credible. Once again demonstrating that he is a pathetic weak man who craves approval so much he will do almost anything to get it.

The other ‘lie’. did kavanaugh say that her friend stated it didn’t happen ?

What were kavanaughs words ?

lfc, I'm not wholly sure what you're asking, but if it's what Kavanaugh's exact words were, when he claimed her friend said it didn't happen, these are they, 'All the witnesses who were there say it didn’t happen. Ms. Keyser’s her longtime friend, said she never saw me at a party with or without Dr. Ford…'
If you watched the hearing you could have seen him say this. Youtube have these hearings in full, so if you want to see him say this from his own mouth, go ahead.

Michael Avenatti suddenly gone very quiet about Julie Swetnik. You know, the woman who was "highly credible" last week according to the Trump-hating lawyer. Come on CNN, have him back on to offer his latest thoughts on the matter.

Being drunk is not the problem, it is what is alleged he did while drunk.

Christine Ford's testimony has been completely discredited, shown up for the politically motivated lies it has always been from start to finish. She should count herself lucky to be allowed to walk away from her lies without punishment. Genuine abuse victims have been done no favours by Ford.

i did say that anyone can not recall a party that long ago.but her class mate ms keyser does not know mr Kavanaugh.not recalling a party or parties is very plausible but to say she  does not know Kavanaugh i find a bit strange
i notice the media claiming sources telling them who has been interviewed so the FBI that agency of great integrity still leaking to their press buddies

Nellie, I'm not sure why it is a big deal that Keyser doesn't remember Kavanaugh. Much like not remembering every event you may have attended over 30 years ago, you may not recollect every person you may have been in a room with at certain events, especially if they had no reason to be on your radar.
Conversely, Kavanaugh does seem to know Keyser, according to his testimony:
Mitchell: OK. Do you know Leland Ingham or Leland Keyser?

Kavanaugh: I — I know of her. And it — it’s possible I, you know, saw — met her in high school at some point at some event. Yes, I know — I know of her and, again, I don’t want to rule out having crossed paths with her in high school.

When he said he never attended a gathering as described by ford that is not a lie
He attended many parties so that was always clear , therefor he wasn’t lying

I don't know how you can say his claiming not to have attended a gathering as described by Ford is not a lie, when his own calendar showed he attended such an event with some of the same people cited, on the 1st July. Therefore he was lying.

Nellie, genuine question, in real life do you call people names? I'm shocked that people seem so happy to follow after Trump, his ilk (and in this case, Tucker Carlson), and just call people names. In school, some friends of the school bully may have followed his lead and called people the same names he used to keep in with him, but what's to be gained here? Trump and Tucker Carlson don't know you exist. It doesn't make you look smart, it makes you look weak that you are just repeating their slurs.

The Democrats began distancing themselves from Michael Avenatti and his client, Julie Swetnik, as soon as her past history of fake allegations were exposed. Avenatti must have been desperate, one could barely imagine a lesser credible witness.

This is the last thing I'll say on this matter. Brett Kavanaugh should not be on the SCOTUS, indeed his own statements under oath should make him ineligible for the position he already holds. It's not the many proveable lies he so readily told, though those should preclude him; it's not that he has been accused by more than one person of sexual assault; it's not even dodgy dealings over debts disappearing and club fees:
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/09/the-many-mysteries-of-brett-kavanaughs-; no, what should preclude him is clear impartiality.
When the Republicans are in power they appoint a right leaning justice, and when the Democrats are in, they appoint a left, that's to be expected. What Kavanaugh said in his hearing wasn't just leaning, it had toppled over into crazy town conspiracy theories. He hysterically stated that "This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit fueled with apparent pent-up anger about President Trump and the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of the Clintons and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups," and 'what goes around comes around.'
Rule 1.2, American Bar Association Model Code of Judicial Conduct states: 'A judge shall act at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the independence,* integrity,* and impartiality* of the judiciary, and shall avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety.'

Kavanaugh will in all likelihood be promoted to SCOTUS due to the 'Nuclear Option' created by Grassley and this GOP, which reduces the requirement from 60 Senate votes down to 51 and also in small part to a very limited FBI investigation that will give rise to little new evidence.

Everyone in the world has been drunk at some time and everyone has become angry at some time, that’s life

Being drunk is not the problem, it is what is alleged he did while drunk.

The problem with that is that everyone of the Democrats assumed guilt based on the testimony alone. Their lines of questioning were about painting a picture of a man that 'blacked out' and generally assumed the character of a person who may potentially do the acts which were alleged.

Therefore they made their minds up and based their opinions on the heavy drinking being representative of an abuser.
How does blacking out from drink prove somebody is a sexual threat exactly? After all somebody blacked out is zero threat at all.

The problem here is that an agenda was appeased, a narrative drawn that people might believe is convincing, that 'they all do it don't they, these types of people'.
Thats confirmation bias Im afraid. The Democrats found a cause that they invested in to carry the argument to get the guy thrown out, and dismissed all possibility of 'innocence' in the process.

DELIGHTFUL
thank you for your lecture in an earlier post.i apologise if calling Mr Michael Avennatti that terrible name was offensive to you.so by calling him that appalling name i am now a weak.why is that?is it because i am a female calling a man by a horrible name?that would be sexist

I agree with some OF Trumps policies that does not make me a follower i have called him out on many an occasion on here.i also said on this thread after his testimony i do not think Kavanaugh  is not suitable for the supreme court.

if i were a democrat or social justice warrior by you calling me weak i would need to go to my safe space for awhile. But since i am neither you have every right to your opinion

I think this Kavanaugh fellow is done for.

I don't care if he got drunk, was a nasty drunk or was obnoxious. You cannot prove he attacked the Prof unless Mark Judge verifies what really happened if it did at all to be fair but we have all made our minds up on that.

For me I believe Kavanaugh lied about the extent of his drinking but that is not proof although contemporaries at Harvard have given accounts of his drunken behaviour.

His anger being questioned under oath was alarming for me. How can this man be dispassionate. His lack of respect for the woman Senator who questioned his drinking habits was illuminating. His political bias was exposed blaming a democrat Plot or the Clintons seeking revenge.

How can this man judge others?

Even Law professors have written stating he is not an acceptable candidate for the Supreme Court. You lot defending him expose your own prejudice and stupidity. Goodnight!

Whatever happened to the principle of Due Process ?.If the Drug Cartels don't like a prospective top judge being nominated, because he says he will come down hard on drug cartels, all they have to do is to pay a prostitute 50k to accuse him of rape.Job Done.

People are so stupid.Looks more like the Salem witch trials every day.Who's next up for Witchfinder General ?.
All this is WHY we have Due Process !!!!.

You'd have thought he would have done his utmost to restrain himself when being questioned under oath, even in less extreme environments I would be looking to at least keep myself in check, he lost it big time in there and this is someone who is being voted onto the supreme court? ffs

Yes he's only human but under some pressure he cracked and he's supposed to be a judge Crazy

Any man falsely accused of being a sexual predator and part of a rapist gang is fully entitled to get very angry, even a SCOTUS nominee. Anyone who says they think otherwise is either an idiot or lying. And LMAO at the Dirty Dems and their acolytes on here now trying to make it about Kavanaugh's emotional performance on Friday instead of the discredited claim of abuse itself. Pathetic and shameful behaviour as usual.

Due process and presumption of innocence only applies to their political allies it seems.
