Who is this FACTS?

He's going to a lot of trouble here and getting worked up.
It's a pity we can't see his face.

I'm not going to a lot of trouble ( it's called cut and paste), and I'm certainly not ' worked up '
But I'm certainly glad I can't see your mug !

Paypal is processing donations so that ex-English Defence League leader ‘Tommy Robinson’ can continue spreading his racist, islamophobic bile.Robinson -- real name Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon -- is arguably the loudest, most violent anti-Muslim voice in the UK. His recent jailing for contempt of court didn’t stunt his support from across the world. And he’s encouraging supporters to donate so he can continue to spread his dangerous messages of hate.At a time when Muslims in Britain are suffering the highest number of hate incidents since 2012, PayPal is profiting off that hatred.Paypal’s acceptable use policy claims it forbids “the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory”. But the fact that Tommy Robinson is cashing in with its services shows this policy isn’t being properly enforced. We know a ban from Paypal will hit his movement hard. When Paypal deplatformed a Canadian far-right commentator, she claimed the move “effectively knocked me down at the knees”.Let’s make PayPal do the same for Tommy Robinson. There’s no denying that Tommy Robinson is the poster boy for the British far-right and he’s using that reputation to get financial support from across the world.Just last month, his supporters staged a mass #FreeTommy rally in London supported by hardline US organisations to the tune of thousands. Worse, one of Trump's diplomats lobbied on Tommy Robinson’s behalf.Tommy Robinson is also building ties with the islamophobic far-right across Europe. Since leaving the EDL, he founded the UK branch of Pegida, an anti-Islam group in Germany who whip up xenophobic hatred. These groups need money to function and grow, so if we make this process as hard as can be, we can cut off their financial lifeline. If we win this, we won’t stop there. A win from Paypal will give us more leverage to pile pressure on other companies processing donations for any hate groups: Mastercard, Visa, and all credit cards giants helping the flow of money to the far-right.Pressure from members like you has already made PayPal block other hate groups from using its platform. Tens of thousands of SumOfUs members in France successfully pushed PayPal to stop processing payments for the violent French white supremacist group Génération Identitaire, which used the site to crowdsource money to sink refugee boats. We’ve been so inspired by the sheer number of SumOfUs members who came together to reject Trumpism earlier this month. This is our chance to keep working together and reverse the rise of hate-fuelled politics.Tell Paypal: your platform should not be used to fund hate -- stop processing donations for Tommy Robinson!

Before I get accused, again - as is the wont of some on here - ironically, jed.davison mostly iirc. I have only ever reported 1 post, ages ago, which resulted in the deletion of 1 post and nothing else. And I said so before I did it.

jed was one of the few people on the political threads who entered my competition. So although I vehemently disagree with him on most things, at least he has posted on other, more interesting, topics. Unlike others, who probably should be banned instead for incitement of varying types.

So, someone who believed you, (as a known squealer), have a history of having people banned, is himself banned? The very day after he embarrasses you?  And, as usual, you`re on, protesting just that little bit too much, full of self-justification for previous grassing form? Hmmm...

Like you make up everything you post on here. timbuctooth

I've never had anyone banned. I reported a post once, from akabula, who I told in advance. which led to a post being removed.

The rest of what you've written is sad troll nonsense. Among your greatest enjoyment is to irritate people. This speaks volumes about the sort of person you are.

Pitiful.

Really? Well, here`s `that stuff`, let`s analyse it, shall we?

`So, someone who believed you, (as a known squealer), have a history of having people banned`  Well, that`s what you told us in your previous post? Was that not true? Were you lying?

`...is himself banned?
`  This appears to be true, does it not?

`...The very day after he embarrasses you?` If he`s banned, this is also true

`...And, as usual, you`re on, protesting just that little bit too much, full of self-justification for previous grassing form?`   Again, your own previous post confirms this, so were you lying? Again?

You`re a grass, a liar and a leftie, (not sure which is worst!), so I`ll leave it to the forum to look at the evidence, weigh it all up most carefully and impartially, then to send you down!

You hanker for crash-Brexit and the dissolution of the EU. This is the narrative of the disaster-capitalists like Crispin Odey, who bankrolled Brexit, made a killing overnight on the 2016 referendum and are teeing up the UK for a bigger hit next March.

I'm not saying you are an architect of their vision of Brexit, jed, but are certainly one of their useful idiots.

Firstly, I do not hanker for crash Brexit - I have been telling you, as I'm sure you recall clearly, since the day after the referendum that we would be unable to reach a deal with the European Union over the terms of our departure. Almost two and a half years later, far from being closer to a deal we are in fact further away than ever from reaching one.

You are correct that I hanker for the dissolution of the EU - despite there being some good reasons for its founding, I'm afraid that the real agenda of its architects has long since been revealed to those from whom it was originally deliberately obscured. This is no simple trading bloc, it is a long-term project designed to remove power from the Nation States of Europe and deliver it into the hands of those who believe they are meant to rule us - people like our very own arch-traitor Edward Heath. It is a corrupt, anti-democratic cesspool, and the peoples of Europe will, within the next decade, see to its dissolution.

Whether you believe or disbelieve any of the above explanation, wishing to see the demise of the European Union does not make me far-Right, and you only succeed in making yourself look a clueless fanatic by labelling me thus.

Extreme sensitivity over being labelled far-right seems like a defining characteristic of that faction. To the rest of us, it is a useful description: Conservatives broadly fit the label of Right, so it is reasonable to identify the faction to the Right of them as far-right.

Individuals may bridle at the label and think themselves indifferent to the far-right agenda but, as mentioned to Insider Trader, the vast majority are cribbing from the same online "sources", and sound remarkably similar. For example, trending now among the far-right claque is "No-deal Brexit will be damaging but it is inevitable."

You cannot even define 'far-right' UB.

What values do you suggest the 'far-right' have?
By:
jed.davison
When: 08 Aug 18 19:22
A simplistic explanation, about as good as I could have hoped for I suppose, but I'm still somewhat baffled that you think I am to the right of the Tory Party. I voted for Ed Miliband in 2015, do you know any other 'Far-Right' people who did that?

I feel sorry for you that you have had your noise put out of joint by all the little people defying your will on June 23rd 2016 - so out of joint in fact that you have railed against their decision every day since they defied you.

Not wishing to remain a part of the EU does not make one Far Right. Using the medium of an anonymous internet forum to vent one's spleen daily at a democratic vote does, however, make you a bit of a sad act.
By:
unitedbiscuits
When: 08 Aug 18 19:39
That does make you an outlier, jed.
You may not be quite the identikit far-right footsoldier. However, wittingly or otherwise, many serve the far-right agenda, of which Brexit is the jewel in the crown.

In fine, the far-right are intent on removing the barrier between the lamb and the lion.

People take exception at the term far-right because it has been used to describe Nazism.

The BNP were described as far-right yet the bulk of their policies were socialist.

Tommy Robinson is described as far-right because he targets an ethnic group for his exposures.

So by that reckoning, todays Labour party qualifies to be called far-right for the anti-Semitism in its ranks which is ripping the party apart.
By:
InsiderTrader
When: 08 Aug 18 19:58
You cannot put Robinson's concerns about terrorism and rape gangs on a par with anti-Semitism. One is concerned about horrific crimes. The other is not.
By:
Dr Crippen
When: 08 Aug 18 20:13
They both target specific ethnic groups, so if that is the criterion used then they both qualify.

There has to be some criterion, and that definition seems to trump all the others.
By:
unitedbiscuits
When: 09 Aug 18 09:03
Is that the thing, Dr Crippen? Is that why you style yourselves “Centrists”?
Bit misleading, like Nazis styling themselves socialists. Far-right is more honest.
By:

UB,
So you don't think that Tommy Robinson should be included in the far right?
By:
Dr Crippen
When: 09 Aug 18 11:44
And while you're at it, explain why the BNP are called far right if the same definition is not the overriding factor that applies to their classification?
By:
unitedbiscuits
When: 09 Aug 18 13:33
Tommy Robinson, far-Right.
BNP, far-Right.
EDL, far-Right.
Breibart/Bannon/Trump, far-Right.
IDS, far-Right.
Rees-Mogg, far-Right.
Minford, far-Right.
Farage, far-Right.
Cummings, far-Right.
Banks, far-Right.

If Conservatives are of the Right, then those to the right of them may usefully be termed far-Right.

You mustn't confuse populist initiatives with the underlying values of any movement, any politicians. The Third-Reich built some great swimming pools for the people.

If you cannot define something how can you use it as a label?
