Innocent until proven guilty.
Anyone can have an allegation made against them. This post-Weinstein world where people are free to make allegations on social media etc right left and centre can ruin innocent people. |
|
By:
IT - this was before Weinstein. The woman in question is choosing to remain anonymous after going to the police. Many of Weinstein's alleged victims have yet to contact Plod.

His Previous does not bode well ,Perhaps IT has chosen to ignore that Part ??

IT is missing the point in that people are no longer innocent until proven guilty, and this is supported and encouraged by certain politically correct people, now I don't know if cox is one of these types or not.
If he is he deserves everything he gets, innocent or not |
|
By:
innocent or not.
Right. |
|
By:
by that I mean of course he deserves to lose his job, he deserves the shame, merely by the very fact of being accused.
What did he do ? I don't know |
|
By:
that might be the very attitude taken by many of those on the left, many of these anti racists and pc fanatics
if he is one of them, I don't know, if he is..good |
|
By:
lfc - you're confusing even yourself with the ramblings.
|

Brendan Coxman!

|
By:
but the whole issue around the nasty cox murder has been used by certain elements to give the knuckle draggers a damn good thrashing while holding the moral high ground - it would appear some do not hold that moral high ground
|
|
By:
perhaps he would have been out protesting against Trump because of Trumps vulgar language
if he was he wont be now, thats good as well although i suppose he might, anythings possible |

It is a very difficult question.
But should mere accusations be published? Maybe if they had at times like Savile he could have been stopped as others could have come forward. But at the same time innocent people can be accused who have done nothing wrong. What I find amazing is that famous people think they can get away with things. Why would you make a big issue of tolerance and womens rights if you were already in the papers for alleged mis-conduct? It must take alot of balls to put your head above the parapet when you know this information is out there waiting to come out whenever the press will find it useful. |

By:
Is he involved in the #Haitihookers scandal as well ?
|
|
By:
However, if you say anything about it you will be deluged with complaints from the 'right on' squad and a knock on the door from plod.

Those who have turned him into a hero on the back of his wife's death will look pretty foolish if he turns out to be a perv in sheeps clothing.

DO PLEASE NOTE THE DATE
The charities watchdog has demanded an urgent clarification from Oxfam after allegations that the charity covered up an inquiry into whether its staff used sex workers in Haiti during a 2011 post-earthquake relief effort. The Charities Commission said on Saturday it had received a report from Oxfam in August 2011 about an ongoing internal investigation into allegations of misconduct by Haiti programme staff members, including claims of inappropriate sexual behaviour, bullying, harassment and the intimidation of staff. “The report to us stated there had been no allegations, or evidence, of any abuse of beneficiaries. It also made no mention of any potential sexual crimes involving minors,” the commission said. “Our approach to this matter would have been different had the full details that have been reported been disclosed to us at the time. |

All comes out at a time some elements are trying to encourage the foreign aid budget to get cut.
Saw JRM at No10 delivering a petition for this from Express readers. Its strange how we are only told about things when they want us to know. I always ask 'why only tell us now?' |

They are all at it!!!
More than 120 workers from a range of Britain’s leading charities have reportedly been accused of sexual abuse in the past year alone. New figures collated by the charities revealed that Oxfam recorded 87 allegations of sexual misconduct between April 2016 and March 2017, of which 53 were referred to the police, Save the Children had 31, ten of which were referred to the police, and Christian Aid two. The British Red Cross also admitted a “small number of cases of harassment reported in the UK”. |

Couldn't help noticing the BBC had been indulging Mr Cox quite a lot lately on several no doubt noble and worthy causes, hopefully we might see a bit less of him now but i'm not holding my breath.
|
|
By:
They've virtually made a saint of him, despite the well documented rumours when he left STC. They must think he's innocent, or were confident it would be allowed to escape proper scrutiny.
