Big difference between saying something as banter in an all male environment and actually committing sexual assault.

I am amazed people pretend not to notice the difference when it suits them.

You'ree prepared to hang draw and quarter Cox without much evidence but laud the Trump for his 'banter'?

Yep, it's definitely us libtards who are in denial.

Insider Trader did not "laud"Trump. Nor did he "hang, draw and quarter" Cox, in fact he expressed an immediate opinion that he was "innocent until proven guilty" and lamented the fact that people's lives were ruined by unproven accusations.

So, yes, Mikael D'Haguenet, I would say you are in denial. You seem to see what you want to see and nevermind the facts.

Be interesting to see if your mate Dave1357 comes along to sing his whataboutery song at you BTW.

of course hag  is in denial - he would love a cover up - but why did cox resign after the allegations?

Thanks Torq for pointing out what I wrote.

This case is interesting because the lady did not press charges but wanted it on record. She also carried on the evening and did not walk out from the restaurant which I find strange. If someone was encouraging me to drink and being inappropriate and I was not interested I would leave. Watch 'celebs go dating'.

Of course any kind of inappropriate behaviour is not acceptable. But I worry this is a massive distraction from the fact so many rape and CSA cases do not even get to court or when they go to court the CPS is so badly prepared they lose.

For the record, I couldn't give a feck about Cox. If he's guilty, I'd hang him myself!

So, essentially, you got everything wrong but it's still us "right wing nutcases" who are wrong.

Btw, Dave is not my mate. Never engaged him. I do tend to agree with nearly everything he writes though. Probably because he's not a hatemonger, unlike the majority of users of this forum.

Have you actually read anything he's said about Trump?

I haven't aka. What did he say about the self-confessed pu$$y grabber?

In respect of Trump one might be forgiven for calling him a hatemonger.
BTW vile talk = contemptuous whilst vile actions = criminality. Quite a bug difference I think you'll agree?

Wtf you on about lfc? People have the same right to vote for Trump as they do for unspecified IRA murderers. You saying they don't/shouldn't have that right?
By:
lfc1971

no I disagree, just as I would disagree with Isis or Taliban murderers being voted into parliament I disagree with IRA murderers being voted into parliament, sorry

Amazing Mikael using the word Fascist and Democracy along side one another, would I be right to say then that Russia and its satellite Countries were Fascists  during the 60/90s ? I doubt many of them had the vote .

Great point workrider.

Shall I presume you don't think people should be allowed to vote for who they want as well?
By:

people can vote for murderers if they wish i disagree that they should, sorry about that
By:

When: 13 Feb 18 15:47
No, people can vote for who they want, I'm a Political Party's nightmare, I'm a floating voter. I vote for who I think is doing the best job. Fascists seems to be the fav word of the left if one disagrees with their point, sadly they seem to miss the point that the BIGGEST Fascists are within their own borders.

On my phone so can't c+p but lfc's slightly bizarre post this morning where he says I'm in a tizzy over Trump but mute over people voting for IRA murderers got me thinking.

So, I had a not-so-quick look through the Trump thread. Only got 20 pages in. People voting for Trump has me in such a tizzy that, in those 20 pages, I posted a grand total of zero times. Lfc's own post count on said thread has to be in three figures, even without taking into account the 37 pages I didn't look at. Seems to me that one of us is a lot more obsessed with the Trumpster than the other.

I've yet to find the thread about voting for IRA murderers where, according to lfc, there's not a peep from me. So, I've not posted in 20 pages of the Trump thread and haven't posted in the mythical 'Vote for IRA murderers' thread either. This apparently makes me a hypocrite.

(In fairness, I'll readily concede that prior to Trump's election I got into a verbal ruck with now-banned Buckfast2Cheap. That was really more because G2D is an even bigger knobhead than Trump though. If ye're reading this, G2D, much love!)

i did some volunteer work for a couple of years, ending a couple of years ago

i witnessed two cases of abuse by paid staff members on fellow volunteers
which i called out when it happened. the paid staff continued to treat volunteers
with lack of respect and i took it up with volunteer manager. i was told it would cease
and everybody was given training to help them respect volunteers

i was never drb checked in my time there, nor were other volunteers and to best
of my knowledge neither were paid staff.

non of the abuse i saw was racist or sexual in nature

i dont wish to name where i volunteered but if other complaints arise against them
i will pass on my thoughts too.

i think its a general lack of management skills amongst folk, and a general lack
of respect too.

What was the nature of abuse donny?

Don't wish to be trivial but a tesco worker called me sweetheart today. If a bloke said that to a feminist, it would be called 'sexist'.

one was shouted at and told off for speaking to somebody ( member of public) in a raised voice, i worked same time
and was able to confirm lady had not raised her voice, and that indeed the only raised voice i had
heard was this scolding going on that was unjustified.

the second was a volunteer with a parking permit being abused for parking in a parking bay on a busy
day so a paid staff member would have to park elsewhere, the language and shouting was way over
what i would call acceptable. i stepped in as i dont like to see that sort of raging behaviour against
anybody. least of all somebody giving up free time for no financial gain.

i never took car there as i knew parking was limited.

there was also a general lack of respect to volunteers who were not there to perform tasks that paid staff
were employed to perform, despite paid staff constantly assuming the contrary.

i left when my "job" was complete, a friend still works there as a volunteer, in different department, he tells me its better now

i guess my two specific complaints and general reports will be recorded as abuse , however minor or major, in their files

if folk cant take being called love, pet, duck, or whatever then perhaps they aint suited to working with public

even if it is intended to put folk down, or is a general greeting.

calling a customer sweetheart is sadly risky in this day and age

i hope you took it as a compliment, as you say, plenty would find offence
