boys should not wear fairy suits - especially with wings
dstyle is one of a small group that make lots and lots of noise in an attempt to silence the majority and how they live their lives it is all about that - not about one individual UA you are part of that problem |
By:
LH saying the first thing came into his mind is telling people how to live their lives, i have never read something so ridiculous.
By:
Should they also get jet planes, Nicole and an F1 car ?
By:
I don't see DStyle trying to silence anyone. Much rather he was attemping to have a sensible discussion. Little did he know that something like that is and always has been impossible with you, mobbo.
By:
I don't know who mobo is but if you cannot see what is happening in the UK then I feel sorry for you.
By:
Oh, I see you corrected me on the spelling of your previous username. True, it was mobo, not mobbo. Sorry, perfectly innocent mistake and certainly not done on purpose.
By:
I wouldn't know about mobo what is your point?? just an attempt to obfuscate yet again. One of your traits.
you are part of the problem like UA - the transgender issue is way beyond your experience. |

Have you seen what happens to young people who get confused over their sexuality or body image.
Is there not a possibility that people are becoming confused because they want to do one thing, but being told that they shouldn't do that thing as it is not "right" and should do something else instead. Here are a couple of questions for anyone who wants to answer Q when did you decide that you were going to be heterosexual and not hom0sexual (or vice versa) Q do you think that if you had been brought up differently your sexuality would be different. |
By:
Nobody has told anyone to grow up as x or y, it was just a comment.
By:
At this point I think it's an appropriate moment to remind us all that there are only two genders, male and female. There is absolutely nothing for any young (or old) person to be 'confused' about.
Hope that helps. |

By:
I don't know but there is something unspeakably sad about the strange sight of this young boy in a party dress
By:
If you stop and think it is almost frightening to think that parents could permit it
By:
I blame the father , most of them are completely useless
By:
And the mother should have more sense and caring also

I feel sorry for today's young people . There is an entire industry out there which nauseatingly and inexplicably seeks to persuade them that they are neither male or female, and that they are not heterosexual.
People can actually go on courses that seek to train them in something called 'LGBTTQQIAAP', which at first glance looks like a bad hand at Scrabble. |

There is an entire industry out there which nauseatingly and inexplicably seeks to persuade them that they are neither male or female, and that they are not heterosexual.
Look at it from the bright side. Gay youngsters need to hide much less than used to be the case. It's also much easier to free yourself from the harmful religious indoctrination than in days thankfully gone by. No more entire church industry that nauseatingly and inexplicably seeks to persuade them that they are an abomination for no good reason other than some random dude once upon a time putting it into foetid book written thousands of years ago. Wait, actually there still is that industry. Not to mention Furthermore, while media coverage has increased dramatically, violence among young people is actually down compared to decades of the past. If we're being honest, today's youngsters are by and large much more civilised and better than us rascals were. Additionally, while there might be increased emphasis in our societies to make sure to communicate that being yourself is ok and you don't need to hide, I wouldn't say it's nauseating or that it's trying to persuade people to suddenly want dick instead of ****. Or that there's any real effort to persuade people they're neither male nor female. Instead there's an industry that persuades girls to use makeup at an ever younger age. There's a new Kinder egg specifically made for girls. An entire Disney Princesses franchise and all that kinda stuff that actually caters specifically to girls (though occasionally you might get a boy inspired by the movies and want to dress up as one of those heroines. That's how cool they are). And more so than used to be the case. I don't remember growing up and girls having all these unicorns, awesome shows like Wishenpoof, Disney heroines (ranging from rather girly to brave Moana) that teach them women can be cool and awesome too (i.e it's ok to be a girl) or them using makeup at like 4 years old. Overall, it must be pretty darn good to be young. |

They would be better reading Enid Blyton

IS - It’s about consistency. The action of Hamilton is the same as the action of other individuals. Hamilton expressed an opinion “boys shouldn’t wear dresses” and shared it with the public. Other people expressed an opinion “Hamilton I think you are wrong boys should be allowed to wear dresses if they want to” and shared it with the public. As moisok pointed out that Dstyle and the media were “telling the majority how to live their lives”, I thought that as it’s the same action then Hamilton must also be “telling people how to live their lives”.
So when you say “LH saying the first thing came into his mind is telling people how to live their lives, i have never read something so ridiculous.” I assume what you must be saying is that “LH saying the first thing came into his mind is telling people how to live their lives, is the most equally ridiculous thing I’ve read along with "But unfortunately dstyle and his friends in the media seem obsessed with thrashing you constantly with their strange need to tell the majority how to run their lives." Look Hamilton had an opinion and shared it with the public. Certain members of the public had an opinion and shared it with the public. If you object to the principle of one you object to the principle of the other. If you find one action outrageous then you should find the other action outrageous as well. I have no moral outrage with Hamilton, I don’t wish to silence anyone , I have no political agenda, I am making no statement on how the media report or not report information, I just disagree with Hamilton’s opinion. |

In the Famous Five one of the Five is called Georgina and is a girl who desperately wants to be a boy and so only wears boys clothes, keeps her hair short and only responds when called “George”. This behaviour is tolerated by her parents who call her George.
I assume this is what you astutely wanted to bring into the discussion LFC1971. |

In religion some would say ; God doesn’t make mistakes. When He fashioned you in your mother’s womb with the care of that of an artist making His one and only greatest masterpiece, God took delight in choosing the things that make you uniquely you. If you feel like there was some big mistake when you were created, then let’s just be brutally honest and say that we don’t share the same definition of God. If God is an all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving Father, it is impossible for Him to make mistakes because it would be contrary to His nature. God created you male or female for a reason.
By:
yes of course U.A. exactly so as I have already tried to explain , Georgina was a bit of a tomboy that's good,
Of course there is more to it than that , there is a lot of good in Enid Blytons stories for young people boys and girls Such a clever writer she was |
By:
I believe the BBC banned her work , that's all you need to know
So much for free speech |
By:
You see she depicted young boys and girls , the famous 5 , or 7
Having adventures on islands etc in their own world , away from the stifling sight of parents just themselves |
By:
on an island, having an adventure , camping, down by the sea , getting into trouble, having a wonderful time ..
Not much angst there , what's wrong with that ? I don't know |
By:
Now I'm sorry but that is just the opposite of what these silly parents are doing with their young son
They are part of the problem nothing less |
By:
I'm not sure you could Read Enid Blyton to youngsters anymore. She liberally used the word 'gay', in the traditional meaning of happy and carefree. It was ok in the 90s, my young daughter was unaware the word had been hijacked. Youngsters may be rather confused by it, now they are rushed into being made aware of homosexuality.
By:
I'm not sure that's the reason saddo.
Perhaps you can recall the names of the three characters her story The Three Golliwogs. Or the plotline of The Little Black Doll. And that's before we start with a rather outdated and stereotyped view of gender roles in the Famous Five. Now of course, we must allow for some cultural and historical relativism: none of this was wrong at the time she wrote the books and for a good period thereafter, and she shouldn't be criticised for it. We shouldn't demand that her books are burnt or that she's erased from history but I think many parents would prefer other books with good reason. |
By:
^ that's wrong, see how people will believe what they want to believe ?
She was banned as early as the 1930s , not one of her stories was ever broadcast She was banned by the 'educationalists' at the BBC Perhaps she was too English , nevertheless she sold millions of books |
By:
Perhaps they will ban Shakespeare or Agatha Christie or Philip Larkin next
Oh I see they did try that one with Larkin |
By:
I suppose some silly individuals might look down their nose at Christie , or even Shakespeare if they could get away with it
By:
Will the little darlings be traumatised by the stories in Enid Blyton ?
Well if they have to endure the appearance of a small boy in a princess dress I am sure they will survive the horror of middle class everyday English children |
By:
Blyton was not even permitted to be interviewed on woman's hour , once again the 'educationalists' however they are
would not permit her voice to be heard Nothing much changes at the BBC |
By:
Well she sold 600 million books worldwide, with 3,600 translations
Every type if young person from every country in the world loved her books But of course some people like DStyle know better |
By:
Erich Kästner is where it's at.
By:
never heard of him , doesn't sound English
By:
The novel Edith Blyton was writing was always the same novel , it was an English novel that's why people loved it ,in England , and many countries throughout the world
And perhaps that is why the BBC hated it |
By:
Kästner was a Saxon, so more or less English. He basically created the entire clever kids go crime fighting genre.
By:
It's all about a minority of people 'torch bearing' for a group. They use it politically. It makes them feel good. Backing everyone into a corner. Politicians etc, so no one dare utter a word.
Very few of them are so called trans and very few know what it is like to be part of that group and what we want. Your language and culture is forcefully being changed by them as they seize the narrative on many issues. And people on here actually welcome it. |
By:
and he didn't even force the ARD to somewhat disown him by writing about dolls only being cute if they're pink instead of having ugly black faces.
By:
of course they have to be 'outraged' but not on my behalf and a lot of others.
