nonsense

very well. you are entitled to think that.

But if I'm wrong, what harm does it cause?

And if you're wrong, what harm does it cause?

i would quite like to see boys and girls dressed in blue overalls as was the practice in communist China
There's something to be said for that , I think it would be good for Britains children

lfc seems to be well researched in young boys and girls crossdressing. Hmm.

We should not be so arrogant as to think we have not got something to learn from China

you're veering off topic quite noticeably now...

so they shouldn't have to worry about my sort of rubbish, but should definitely have to worry about your concerns.

I would say "my sort of rubbish" is a great deal more accessible to a child's mind than your concerns.

dstyle rules the roost with attaining the  high moral ground and defeats you all from the benefits of observation

it is the military way

you should all be ashamed of yourselves for not seeing it his way

Having said that boys should not be encouraged to wear princess dresses - particularly with wings.
Have you seen what happens to young people who get  confused over their sexuality or body image.
Dstyle and his type who continue with a barrage of propaganda both in the media and on sites help with this interferrence
with their attempts to change nature.
Very dangerous. Particularly if you have wings. They might want to fly
Wonder what our bearded friends think of this?

again with the strawmen.

boys shouldn't be encouraged to wear dresses, nor, and it was a decision i actively opposed at my son's nursery, should they be told that they can't play war based games.

Nor will I pretend that there aren't specific types of behaviour which little boys and little girls naturally tend to congregate towards.

But if a young boy or a young girl wants to dress up as a character which is often depicted as female or male respectively, i believe that there is the potential for more harm in opposing it than there is in allowing it.

If anyone is imposing control or enforcing particular ways to think, it is those who are opposed to this idea.

According to your subjective view. Odd that you think only your view can be correct, but good luck anyway.

I've invited comments on here for people to explain why they think it is so damaging to allow young boys to dress up as girls and vice versa. I've got imprecise explanations like "it's unhealthy" without explaining why it is.

I have explained why I think it's important to allow this.

Convince me I'm wrong, and I'll change my mind. I would hope you could extend me the same courtesy.

dstyle is part of a minority of very noisy people who see it as trendy to grab attention about confusing gender on the basis of a minority who themselves have issues and will also be confused. This is sad on so many points.
Instead of concentrating on the issues us so called trans have, they wish to impose the trans view on 100 percent of the population - of which there is only a minority of trans.  And many of this tiny minority (who say they speak for us) have seized the political torch to castigate hamilton and the rest of you.  I don't expect any of you would appreciate me bombarding you with the trans view of the world.  But unfortunately dstyle and his friends in the media seem obsessed with thrashing you constantly with their strange need to tell the majority how to run their lives.  Just leave us in the trans world alone and stop badgering the majority with your silly views of it because you actually know nothing about it.
They like to use this topic and the whole lgbti issue as a political rallying point to show how inadequate the rest of you are.  It surely is about feeling good as they have you by the ....   ho ho
By:

They also try to lump the many strands of so called 'trans' under one label as they do with the whole lgbti issue.  But it is good for making you straights feel uncomfortable and is also good for votes.  It also forces politicians into a corner and makes people apologise for being straight. Or apologise for something that does not need apologising for.

crikey, that's an impressive amount of information you've divined about me.

none of it is true, but it's impressive you went to the effort to type it.

this topic has absolutely nothing to do with transgender issues. In making it so, it shows you clearly miss the entire thrust of the argument and have mistaken it for something else entirely.

I happen to agree that an over-representation of a minority's minor problems in preference to the majority's major problems is virtue signalling politics at its very worst.

and cis is the term you wanted to describe non trans people.

Yes it has everything to do with agenda and you are one of the types who seizes the issue as a political weapon to bash the majority by embarrassing them and beating them into a corner.  You high ground types make me choke as you know nothing about the issue and certainly haven't experienced it.  I do we were left alone to get on with our lives instead of being lectured to all the time by the helpful do gooding types like you.

No it doesn't. It has nothing to do with this topic. The point about this particular issue is to do with allowing young children to express themselves without being restricted by adult ideas that they don't place any importance on.

You have conflated this topic with something else which is clearly making you very very cross. I'm not here to argue about that, and moreover, if I were, you would find that I'm sympathetic towards your concerns.

why do you like the use of the word thrust?

(and you described both groups as trans in your post at 14:44, which is why I suggested you needed another word)

Oh  and read the OP title line  'transgender'  hope this helps ok???

Being involved in the whole messy business (he he)  I have always struggled with the labels I must admit.

LGBTI  ism  AND tran stuff is the latest metro buzz word

up till now it was essential to have a gay at a dinner party

now it is having a trans as a guest - if you don't you are nothing in today's chatterarty society.

and it seems we have to tell the youngsters its pink tights and wings now!!!!

anyone remember adam and the ants  -  guys wearing full make up on the busses in the 80s  etc etc

my heyday ho ho

young boys wearing princess dresses can lead to all manner of strange ideas and perversions ,
I have no doubt about that ...they may take to playing netball

I can assure you no young boy in England should play netball

That is what is happening now to Britain, the greatest of all civilisations

"But unfortunately dstyle and his friends in the media seem obsessed with thrashing you constantly with their strange need to tell the majority how to run their lives."

But isn't Lewis Hamilton doing a similar thing. Isn't Hamilton telling people (5 million plus followers) how to run their lives. Is it ok for one group of people to tell someone what they should and shouldn't do - Hamilton telling people boys shouldn't wear dresses, but not o.k. for another group of people to do the same thing - Hamilton you're wrong.
