I don't recall that aka'. and I think we're a similar age. Are you thinking of liquorice sticks (arrowroot?)
Flying Saucers and Blackjacks, both 4 for an old penny, Beach Nut chewing gum from the machine (free packet on every 4th turn) Refreshers, Penny Arrows and Penny McGowans, Sherbert Fountains (my favourite) spring to mind. |

Dairy Maid Toffees - chocolate caramels with foil wrappers with a picture of a milkmaid on it. Cadburys Dairy Milk in penny and tuppeny bars - little thin version of the thicker sixpenny bar. |

one of the cheap shops currently selling munchies,mintolas 40p a tube,talking of frys,jamioca rum etc,.etc anyone remember the milk tray bar the flavours strawberry,orange etc were all in the shape of a strawberry,orange,coffee bean etc joined together in one bar

the bar you might be on about wasn't a mars,topic,aztec,picnic etc but might have been more like a biscuit ,tunnocks caramel wafer type,smaller than most with a chocy biscuit, chewy toffee texture,taste to it but for the liofe of me cant think of its name,more the size of a finger of fudge |

If you were lucky at Christmas you would receive a Chocolate Smokers Outfit. Consisting of cigarettes, cigars, pipe and ashtray all wrapped in gold foil. Everything the junior smoker could wish for.
