commentator made a bit of a prat of himself there, it was neck and neck at the line so don't know he was so sure who the winner was.

Do their coaches not teach them to dip?
Would have thought it would have been lesson 2 in sprinting.

Oddschecker showing Victors have Caster Semenya as favorite for Mens 800m

I actually thought you was joking, but they do! imo that's not funny but the person who has put that up obviously thinks it is.

in fact it's a disgrace really, she's been abused enough during her athletics career to have a bookie taking the piss

I clicked through on the BV price link and it took me to the womens 800m betting

so it's some clown at oddschecker who is responsible

On second glance, it's an oddschecker mistake rather than betv1ctor, they've listed all the women and mens's 800m runners in the men's 800m market, still...silly mistake.

The women's athletics is magnificent. Along with gymnastics and swimming it's the only women's sport where you feel you are watching something if equal merit to the mens'. Women's football and cricket is a joke compared to this. And of course the tight arses are a real treat Wink

The womens pole vault competition was a joke.
There were 2 women who cleared heights and the others spent two hours failing miserably , how any of them got a Bronze medal I do not know.

Both 100 metres races have been terrific.
The mens 400 metres and womens 1500 metres should be belters.

Back to Mr Gatlin. It appears that if a formerly banned athlete turns up and doesn't win and in particular doesn't beat the most famous athlete in the world ,he can run with no grief.
Didn't notice Blake getting any heckling nor any of the many others taking part

Makwala not running in 200m, saving himself for the 400m, does this mean all bets on Makwala in 200m are lost, or is this classed as void as he didn't take part.

They have goal line technology in the stadium but they can't help the young lad get a camera angle to determine whether his possible gold medal throw was legit or not.

he shouldn't be begging for a medal, he should have made sure his feet were well within so it wouldn't be an issue.
