I'm not sure why people think Britain as a non EU country but within Europe, will be treated any differently to Norway, i.e. free movement of people will carry on, immigration wont alter much.

Tourism to the UK absolutely flying apparently.

Id rather people visit this once great country with their actual own money to spend

The low pound is a massive result, perhaps the best consequence of the bold decision of the people of England to withdraw Great Britain from the EU. I'm afraid that all the bluster from the Nation-hating Remainers is just that - bluster. If they had the wit, they could not have engineered a better situation for the UK.

Let the profiteers have their moment, we knew they would. We knew what is happening to the pound now would happen. So what?

If every tenth person who shops in Supermarkets takes a second to read the country of origin of their shopping, and buys British instead of from abroad, our job will have been done.

It is the elephant in the room for the bleating Remainers - not what will happen to us without the European Union, but what will happen to the European Union without us. In their little world, we are nothing without the EU. In the real world, the EU is nothing without us. It will have collapsed and folded within three years, purely and simply because we have rejected it. All the nations of the world who owe their freedoms, their rule of law, their habeus corpus, to us know that we have seen through the undemocratic farrago and roundly turned our backs on it.

This is Great Britain, the founder of the World, the mother of all Empires, the lawgiver to all Nations. Our only interaction with Europe should be as the ultimate arbiter of their disputes and the guiding light for their self-determination. Just as it has always been.

We have again shown the Nations of Europe the true path. It's unlikely they will thank us, they never do.

Aw, adorable. Neither the UK nor EU will fold because of Brexit. That is, if the EU doesn't allow cherry picking. If they allow that, the EU will indeed fold.

Someone asked what has happened.

So far, you have lost 15% of your wealth. In graphic terms, Brexit has been the equivalent of self-inflicted amputation above both knees. This hasn't hit most people in the UK yet. This exchange provides an example: a betfair user's sterling balance is now worth 15% less than someone matching his bet in Euros or Dollars. At the poker table, going all-in can be fatal only to the sterling player, his opponent betting in Euros can call him, lose, and still be in the game.

And just as your betfair bank has been decimated, so all your assets denominated in sterling have been diminished. This is not something you can avoid by not going abroad or even by giving up Marmite and hibernating with your money under the mattress. Because out in the world, your purchasing power is still 15% less. A policeman may have a pension worth £750,000 - that sum buys 15% less in the world than on June 22nd, regardless of whether he is drawing that pension. So Voting-Leave has cost him £75,000 already.

What will happen as the consequences of Brexit unravel are uncertain but history gives a strong indication. Most likely, the UK's GDP growth will again fall behind that of France and Germany (the very reason that the UK for so long begged to join the EEC) and we will consign future generations to be the poor men of Europe.

Take a look at I.D.S on Hard Talk he say's everyone but the Brexiters are wrong and the low pound is just a readjustment as it is overvalued.
I think he could be right, the pound isn't worth diddly squit, buy Euro's or Dollars as this country is fooked.

"Overvalued" and "overdue correction" are essentially meaningless terms used by people don't understand the reasons for something happening. Of course, there were champions of Brexit who knew that sterling would plunge - you could say that some were banking on it - but E1.01 at Dublin airport is not the kind of figure they want to paint on a bus.

people who voted Brexit realize this, even subconsciously, but it was the only possible thing to do because inevitably the European countries themselves are in the process of destroying themselves.

Being in the EU was like having your legs shackled to the EU gatepost with 27 others, with whom you was forced politically integrate with and paying to do so.
Removing those shackles will give the UK the right to direct democracy without the interference of foreign bureaucracy.

Our legs are soon to be free UB.

Zen Master now we have our so called Sovereignty back which E.U. laws would you like to abolish?

The ironic part of that LBC interview with JOB, was that the educated pontificating Remainers hold very little knowledge on the series of treaties, let's say from The Maastricht Treaty to the Lisbon Treaty - which Tory/Lib/Lab all promised the referendum on but back-slided.

Mention these Treaties to the average Remainer and their eyes glaze overLaugh, yet they claim the higher ground oblivious to their own ignorance.

There has been so much interference and transfer of authority to the EU through these Treaties along with such a complicated interpretation of such that JOB did not even offer his hand in help to that stranded caller.

Very disingenuous from JOB.

Anyway here is the daddy of all daddies regarding those who voted to Leave.

Directive 2004/38/EC on the right to move and reside freely

The Common Agricultural Policy - would be high on the list.
Transfer of cash to the rich EU landowners, 40% of all the EU budget-  the UK can start afresh.
