I nearly ran over Alan Rickman in Wardour Street one day. He was ambling across the road and wasn't paying attention causing me to slam on my brakes. He called me a very nasty name.

should have reversed and had another go.
Mind you, you wouldn't then be able to post it as tenuous. |

I was stood outside an AA meeting in London many years ago talking to a bloke when an attractive but somewhat dishevelled young lady with an American accident asked us both for a cigarette, we both said sorry we don't smoke. So she walked off, the other bloke said she did that last week you'd think with all her cash she could buy her own. Why who was she I asked, Lindsay Lohan he replied. I must admit I had to google her when I got home as I had never heard of her. As her attendance at these places is common knowledge, I don't think I am breaking her anonymity before you ask.

Fookin hell, I used to be with the AA ...
breakdown now covered by Aviva insurance - included for small charge. Not sure Lindsay Lohan would be able to fix my car. |

By:
Is it wrong for me to think that had I been a smoker and given her a cig I might have got a sh@g out of it?

As a younger man, I had intimate knowledge of Kate Moss...................'s best mate.
In the flesh, btw, back in the early 90's Moss was so remarkably beautiful that you couldn't look directly at her. Her mate was not ![]() |

Although I didn't realise who it was at the time, I saw George Michael tumble out of his Range Rover on the M1.

^ I think we can rule out Tony Hadley as he's a bit busy right now so I'm going for Jon Moss (Culture Club) with Robert (Kool) Bell, Kool & The Gang N.B.
|
|
By:
I had to google Tony Hadley to see what he'd been sent down for. Please tell me you don't watch that sh!te JM!
Anyway, found him. Here's Brassneck standing next to Trevor Horn or Elton John, realising he's been spotted, then hiding behind a cameraman. He's now former BDO champ Andy Fordham. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjQzJAKxTrE&t=0m50s |

Many years ago I had an office and flat in Mayfair -I belonged to a Club in Chestefield Street called "Rags" ...was very quiet Mid Day - so had the odd drink with Georgie Best !
Lovely Guy until he had a few.. ![]() Sold my Porsche 911 Carrera Targa to Angie Best. Lived at the time in Chertsey, Surrey ...also had dark metalic blue Rolls Royce Shadow (and long legged blonde to go with it)...used to drink at a Pub called "The Golden Grove" ...Keith Moon lived down the end of a driveway next to the Pub ...it was a quiet night ...Keith walks in says to the Landlord ...who's Roller is that parked outside ...Landlord points to me ...Keith comes over - Hiya mate want a drink ? Me having played once in a band we had a good chat ! Very polite sane Guy (KM) not the nutter often portrayed in the media ! Oh ....those were the days! |

Impressive name-dropping but a late contender for post of the year nevertheless.

"Impressive name-dropping" ?????
No - factual ..what do you expect people to post on here ? I'm not trying to impress anyone ...I don't have to what's occurred/happened in the past is a matter of fact. At the grand old age of 68 I've been around a bit ..travelled the World Europe, Middle East, Africa, Far East - even deepest darkest Russia other side of the Ural mountains - lived in Tehran done business/travelled to Kazakhstan so many stories to tell.. ![]() Havn't even started ! PS: Going back quite a few years ...Robbie Williams bought my Aunties (now deceased) house in Clarendon Road, Holland Park. He sold it on some time ago. |

Rockinron ...
I can beat that for tenuousity hands down. My wife's sister's daughter (wow, apostrophes, my niece really but wanted to show off with apostophes) used to babysit Gary Lineker's child. (Apparently Lineker up himself and not all that nice) |

Was so funny to see all these people being escorted/chucked out of Court .... ![]() Oh phuck - should I have mentioned this - who's that banging at my door ! |
