Watson is a bit sh1t.  Dunno why they keep referring to his "undoubted talent". Not like he is some immense talent.  He is of very limited ability and has failed to live up to those limited abilities.  Hope they don't drop him.

Positive batting by England and good tactics when they were fielding. A well deserved win.

Watto's defo dropped.  Haddin looks to be on the verge of retirement.  Looks like they are gonna bandage Starc up and push him onto the field.

The shufflers still fav? Oh well, they may be stronger without Fatboy and Haddin but i doubt it..

2 wickets this morning including Clarke after a sketchy 7 off 32 balls.  46 runs in nearly an hour and a half's play not exactly electric so far.

Rain most of Sunday on the forecast now.  Tomorrow gonna be crucial, we can go a long long way toward securing the draw if we bat well.  Can't wait to spend the whole day down the pub watching.

Get angry by all means but I simply cannot abide this head in hands stuff.  That is not the spirit that won the war ffs.

1.40 looks a great price, cant see how england can bat for nearly 3 days.

Great quip from Agnew this morning when he was talking with Tuffers about today's 'View From The Boundary' and mentioned that someone connected with the Bond films would be the guest.

"I reckon Geoffrey would make a good Bond" said Tuffers.
"Yes, I can see Geoffrey strolling out of the sea with his stick of rhubarb" replied Aggers.

Really made me laugh!

Bell out, may have well have played some shots, but was in blocking mode, as is Root, sadly.

As the Aussies only lost 10 wickets in the game ,  it is a defeat by an innings and 405 runs ........ how much are they paid for this rubbish ?

Embarrassing defeat. They will do well to recover from this. Ding dong is shellshocked and needs to go. Could do with dropping 3 out of the first tbh 4 but ye would need a crystal ball to replace them. Root could move up but I don't rate Bairstow as highly as some do, and Johnson would be licking his eyebrows if he was recalled. As for the bowlers Anderson is now really a one-trick pony and unless the shufflers lend him a boomerang i can't see him winning test matches. Problems all around metinks.

The one thing that really annoys me is the shíthouse mentally returned this test, i thought we had seen the last of it..

Too much 20/20 and one day baseball style cricket for satellite tv .......not  a clue how to approach playing out a disciplined old school 5 day drawn test.

Yellow armbands should be worn by all Engerlish 'batsmen' @ Edgebaston..

Engerland should have plenty of local support though, according to Cameron, that is..
