Not really ...Cats are not part of the natural fauna and nor are the 100+ magpies that inhabit the area around me .
They must be very much inbred ,the behavior they exhibit is also far from natural ,think this was a territory thing due to the numbers in the area, comp for nesting imo  ,they could have done it 6-7 weeks .lots of peck marks on back on one but other not so marked just a bit of a bald patch on side  ,and strangely a lot of half formed tail feathers removed (magpie imo)tree looks like it has had a monkey in it by the amount of displaced branches ,so must have been a fair old disturbance ,pigeons dont protect their nests so unsure what occured .Seen a Black cat looking up at tree last week ,maybe a combined attack .

I got one of these "insect hotel" things and put it up in the garden. Couple of weeks ago one or two leafcutter bees moved in and have been back and forth with bits of leaves and pollen for the nest. I took these photos this afternoon : you can see 3 finished tubes and she's finishing off another one now.

I was actually hoping to get ladybirds in there, but just pleased that something found a good use for it.

Really glad the topic of BEES finally  came up here ,just last week the usual suspects were peddling  a "story" ,suggesting the decline of WILD BUMBLE  BEES was due to climate change LaughLaughLaugh

They will stop at nothing in there propaganda battle ,promulgate any old **** to hide the truth .

The honey bee is struggling due to commercial honey producers importing and exporting disease all over the globe (GREED) ,these diseases have been made worse and allowed to take hold for many reasons but for some reason the new age pesticides ,the GM crops ,ect ect ect are never mentioned by the MSM as being linked to Wild Bee decline .

In fact you will struggle to find any of these sources even linking the destruction of the Honey Bee to Wild Bee decline .

I think the pesticides and other chemicals and pollution   inc GM crops are to blame for the weakening of the Bees immune system ,they have been laid open to disease and parasites ,its a disaster but noone wants to talk about it for fear of the wrath of the big food comapanies, who have infiltrated all forms of media and now control the agenda .

Last weeks MSN release proves this imo ,just one week later  we have Honey Bee hives being burnt in scotland because of a notifiable disease ,the Wild Bees decline must be linked to the demise of the Honey Bee ,it makes simple sense but they dont want that narrative being talked about .

The big food producers have a hidden agenda and have total control of the Science ,have spent billions getting that control and no narrative that challenges what they are up to is allowed airtime .

GM foods ,Frankenstein farming ,dangerous chemicals and pesticides are good for you ,do not resist .....

These people are at the knowledge base ,in the universities ,funding the research and have a big hand in what makes mainstream media and what does not ,its criminal ,the destruction of the Bee is worth a close look ,try researching what has been happening to them never mind the humble Bumble Bees  and you will find a lot of anomalies and some very conflicting info .
They really dont want a link being made between GM crops ,New age pesticides and Bee decline ,never mind Bumble Bee decline .

if any such info does surface they quickly go on the counter  ....sickening stuff .

They are strangling any opposition to their plans ,anyone prominent in the science side that talks about it is removed ,ground pulled from under their feet .

check it out for yourself ...could say a lot more but dont want to draw the tinfoil hat accusations ...Wink
