great stuff egner ,what camera you using ?
Yesteryear and not so long ago there was so many diff kinds of Bumblebee ,particularly diff kinds of big ones ,all diff markings and numbers of spots ,they have vanished from my neck of the woods and the most common are the smaller darker ones with a lot of spots.Butterflies are the same ,rare to non existent ,not seen a single mayfly this year ,although the daddies (crane fly ) have just made an appearance this week .Early doors wee had some mention of wasps ,and actually had one in the house about the time they were getting a mention on here (april ?) but where they went who knows ,not seen one since . There are 250 species of bummblebee worldwide and 25 in the uk . wonderful latin name Bombus |
