Why don't you try and write something worth reading instead of criticising other people's posts?
sounds like you're critiquing my post |

Islam was formed 1300 years ago, Crusades were 900 years ago but my point is more about both religions are about converting and their version of a god is superior. Christianity could have been just as bad as Islam if we didn't separate state from religion.
Christianity was just as bad 1300 years ago and Priests were very powerful. I listen to the British History Podcast and we are in this era. Anyone with a god on their side is very dangerous indeed. Ovalman, the crusades were a belated attempt to roll back the muslim conquests and subjugation of palestine, using your logic a belated attempt to roll back islamisation in the UK, or Europe, or the Islamic State in Iraq/Syria or the Magreb or the sinai would all be considered crusades, as would the reconquista. The separation of state argument is one often used by 14 year olds, and usually completely misunderstood. A simplistic response could be that in the most genocidal century in history, neither stalin, nor mao, nor pol pot, nor hitler, nor lenin, thought they had god on their side. The muslim turks being the one obvious and unsurprising exception. |

In short, no. This is the same moral equivalence of the multiculturalist, just slightly moderated in the face of irrefutable evidence. |

That is open to debate, it wasn't one dictate to conquer Palestine but many separate dictates to convert or take back lost lands and people. Right or wrongs, the important part is they were based on religion and Christianity was just as spiteful as Islam during this period but Christianity has moved on. Love thy neighbour seems to be more appropriate today than kill the infidels although there are still some right wing nutters that believe in the latter. There's no simplified answer to curing the spread of Islam but education for all has to be one of the priorities, that's why groups like the Taliban try to supress it. |

A Muslim political party will be contesting seats at next month’s regional elections in France, standing on a platform which includes promises to expand the halal industry and allow girls to wear the burqa.

Baroness Warsi, the first Muslim woman to sit in Cabinet, handed official posts to people linked to Islamist groups, including a man involved in an “unpleasant and bullying” campaign to win planning permission for the controversial London “megamosque” proposed by a fundamentalist Islamic sect.
He sits – alongside other radicals or former radicals and their allies – on a “cross-Government working group on anti-Muslim hatred” set up by Lady Warsi and Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister. Some members of the group are using their seats at the table to urge that Whitehall work with Islamist and extremist-linked bodies, including one described by the Prime Minister as a “political front for the Muslim Brotherhood”. Some are also pressing to lift bans on foreign hate preachers from entering Britain, including Zakir Naik, who has stated that “every Muslim should be a terrorist”. |

One of the families lawyers is blaming the uk authorities for this
![]() One hand the muslim community said muslims shouldn't be spied on, the next minute they should when it suits them. How about blaming the girls parents and families for not realising what was going on, and for failing in teaching them that its wrong to behead people. None of them are showing any signs of shame, and they expect them to come home and the uk should welcome them back with open arms. Why not trying to blame the real culprits this time, families and friends of these people and the religion of Islam itself. |
|
By:
If the truth's known their parents are proud of them.
|
|
By:
Yes maleuk, had to have a chuckle now the security forces are being blamed.
The charge being, they failed to snoop on innocent muslims. Oh the irony. |
|
By:
There's still a deafening media, school, legal and religious silence about what sort of wannabe psychopaths travel half way across the world to support IS.
|
|
By:
Correct. How about the government making a statement saying "Good luck - good riddance, and don't even try to get back" Would that not send a message out to other young ladies who have, or may have in the future, the same inclinations?

just heard on the radio
Nigeria girl kills five when she was searched - blew herself up!! A serious point - why don't they do it here - do they think it's not good PR Or is our security(cough cough) too good for their schemes?? Particularly when the demographic is so in their favour. |

Girls that age all work Sundays over here..

maleuk01 - spot on.
The media are also careful to say that these are Grade A students. Oh so that worked out well.. I'm quite happy with my 'C's thankyou very much. Did me no harm... |
|
By:
good girls that have been 'radicalised' by the baddies, therefore, exonerating the girls from any blame.
This is reinforced by saying they were straight A students, well liked, from a respectable family etc so portraying them as blameless media manipulation at it's finest |

Surely only a matter of time before another "home grown" terrorist commits a horrific act here in the UK, and the same old "how did we let this happen?" hand-wringing will go on for a few days, before it just dies out and nothing changes.
Anyone with their eyes open, can see that we are just too tolerant and patient with this malevolent cancer that is growing throughout the western world, hiding under the cloak of multiculturalism, and developing with impunity due to spineless governments who are scared to take tough action where it might be appropriate, due to political sensibilities around upsetting enormous numbers of registered voters. We are alleged at war with "terror". But refuse to fight it on our own shores. |

I think the world need to unite against what is Islamist ideologue(same as nazi) then put the same effort they did to eradicate Nazism back in 30's and 40's. If you take their religion guise it is almost the same as nazi ideologue.
It is arab supremacy and imperialism, it is about conquering, it is about absolute power, It was created in order to help nomadic desert people to conquer the world in the guise of religion. What you see today in Syria, Iraq and Nigeria is what Mohammed and his followers did in 700 AD and couple of hundreds years afterwards. Destroying seriously advance civilization in Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Harmonious mecca, Turkey, etc. There are many muslim who really don't know what is the end game of their religion and there many more who are trapped and feel helpless, because if they speak out they surely will be killed and the west is kind of neutral to their fate. |

BBC still trying to keep this story at the top by telling us the families have not stopped crying
![]() |

I agree with you Danno, It is sad to say, but it will take couples of 9/11 or 7/7 in major western capitals to wake up citizens of Europe who buy the rhetoric "it is religion of peace" it is just few bad apples or if they manage to take Nigeria, Syria, Iraq or Libya and uses rich resources of these countries to try to conquer the world and impose islam.
That will proper wake up call to their sympathizers in the west and the true face of Islam when in power. |
|
By:
Bizman - that is what I have tried not to say - why do we have to wait for some gruesome killings !! Hang on we have already had them haven't we.
and then. what exactly are our politicians and security forces going to do they will be 10 percent of the population by the time I die what exactly are you going to do with them!!! |
|
By:
send the parents to look for them in Syria.
Ohhhh and by the way none of you can return to the uk. That might make a few of the families keep an eye on what they teach their kids. |

By:
It ll be too late mobo to too anything.

10% is very optimistic
i read that the uk pop of muslims is 5% but under 20 is 12%. |
|
By:
It is possible they can triple their number in 20 years or so, if they continue having 5-7 children per family.

It's not all doom and gloom; 3 brood mares have just left..
|
|

you are right guiness
but they will let them back in (with their brood) for re education and integration |

And their new husbands.

They would probably employ the new hubby's as security advisors.

The lawyer involved is Aamer Anwar who has become the go to brief
for in Scotland for anything that might be covered by Human Rights legislation. He is a regular on television, some years ago his wife was involved in a car accident and the race card was played, the Judge found against them. Here is a quote from AA ."I'm tired of our government's stance on civil liberties and how the Muslim community has to integrate into an authoritarian Britain," |

British police officers are in Turkey as the search continues for three schoolgirls believed to be heading for Syria to join Islamic State militants.
From the BBC website. What for ffs? |
|
By:
Because three young girls are missing from home and are, quite likely, in grave danger?
|
|
By:
this is worth a read, if you have the time (you're on chit chat ffs, of course you have the time)
http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2015/02/what-isis-really-wants/384980/ as many others, including Injera and Ibrahim Sonko have pretty much said, the west's biggest problem is a belief that Islam can undergo some sort of revisionism and reformation, or that it has done so, whilst the Quran declares that any attempts to do so are apostasy. These people are not extreme or radical, they are devout. |

I see the girls school principal has come out in defence of his acadamy. Still no cockerneys about?
