I must say there's been some classic Pretending-To-Be-Shocked scenes on the media this last few hours. As if ANYONE is remotely surprised by any of it.

government policy is often one of deferring responsibilities onto individuals (like landlords responsible for vetting the tenants of their properties instead of the state doing the job of finding out if a person is legally a resident here) so why doesnt the government tell religion to get its house in order and if it doesnt then secularism will?

Part of my posting 2 days ago on the thread on chit chat Ten Ways to Fix Broken Britain. For years I have been warning of this type of thing and nothing gets done. There are no go areas in London due to the followers of a certain religion stopping you from drinking from a can if they think its alcoholic if they see you. For goodness sake, the muslims won't extend to anyone the freedoms extended to them. Lets give them a bit of Sharia Law that they crave-especially the cutting off limbs part of the Law! And no disability benefits afterwards! |
