RIP to those killed. The individuals should be weeded out and jailed without trial. It's a crime in itself that they were able to escape and imagine now they could be congratulating one another. The army needs to be standby for atrocities like this. I hope the murderers meet the same torturous end they inflicted upon the policeman.
I would not generalize one group as a result of the actions of these individuals. Whatever race or religion, they identify themselves with, is no reflection on that race or religion. |

The French have been ahead of us since 1905 when they introduced Laicite the separation of church ( any religion ) and state. Where they fell down was Algeria when De Gualle sacrificed thousands of French pied noirs to Islamists in the 60's. It's been bubbling in France long before 9/11 afghan etc.

Nope not a holocaust denier at all, though, I must admit I've never looked into the reasonings why such people would deny such an event. As far as today in Paris goes, I've seen nor read anything to suggest it is Muslim related and as ar as I'm aware, no group has claimed responsibility, which they normally do. All I've heard is the usual sky news musings and suggestions without foundation. |

Just after hearing this news. Not in the right frame of mind right now to look at the pictures of the policeman being shot on the ground. But I will. Some things upset me and I know these pictures will but hopefully anger will take away any upset because we all should be angry about this to start doing something about it.

I just hope they catch those who did this, and before people start making up stories and start judging without facts is pretty stupid, i guess anyone of any religion could have done this and shouted out some words to give the blame to the muslims, where is the saying not guilty until proven otherwise. So now every idiot can do a terrible thing, call out some islamic words and then this happens. This is whats wrong with the society, wait until the facts are out.

Its not the gory part that will uspet me. I can take gory. Its the casual gunning down of a man lying on the ground that is going to be upsetting to watch. But I will watch it. And for one reason only and that's because I want to feel some anger about what happened but I have just heard about. Btw I had no idea what you meant earlier when you said other things were happening today which were more important. I was virtually locked away working all day today and coming on here foe a bit of a break now and again. I would not have continued posting on that other thread if I had known this happened.

The problem is how do you defeat an enemy that has small elements in every country and not blame innocent people. Its a lot easier and less complicated when you face a enemy on just one battlefield even when that enemy is a lot bigger. I think they should be given no publicity even if it means not knowing about some atrocities. Then you need to think about some kind of military action and whether it will make matters better or worse in the long run even if there is some short term pain.

I will ask again. What evidence, other than someone shouting allu Akbar suggests that the gunmen were Muslim? After all, it's reported that they spoke in French and English and their faces were hidden.
