I'm sick of it..enough's a enough...plenty of more deserving charities to donate your hard earned to and while i'm at it is it entirely necessary to look such a scruffy bastard all the time..get yer hair cut and styled son!!

Nice to see One Direction, Chris Martin, Bono and Sir Bob in the new photo.

Actually I think if the general public to them and they donated all their money we would raise more for Africa.

If it's all about letting them know it's Christmas time maybe an advent calendar would be more useful than a planeload of rice.

Whilst one doesn't want to belittle such a devastating illness I was wondering if some of the funds raised could go towards sending out some red bio-hazard suits with fur cuffs and hoods and a few false white beards for the medical staff... might not cure any victims but could go some way to cheering them up during the festive period. Anyone know which organisation Sir Bob is going to give the money to?

Probably a president of an African country where it will filter down to the population or maybe end up in a Swiss bank account..

There are more Kenyan Shillings in Swiss bank accounts than any other currency.

Hope it will sell shedloads to the 'youth' who didn't get it the firs and second time around. If it does, it's worth putting up with the caterwauling din for a few weeks.

I don't expect anyone in danger of or who has actually got this bloody terrible disease knows, much less cares how any help they are getting has been funded or if a corrupt official has skimmed off a percentage

For something that's less than the price of a pint, it really does seem to get everyone in here really vexed.

I don't need a multi millionaire telling me I should give money to any cause.  When Sir Bob has the same amount in the bank as me I'll match him pound for pound.

Christ almighty. Grown men in 2014 criticising people for having long hair and looking ' scruffy '
I'm 64 and have long hair  - same as I did in 1969 when my Dad had a go at me for my appearance.
You guys need to get out more. You sound like boring  farts with blinkered vision that belongs back in the 60's.

If some of these X factor pop stars were to actually do something useful like go to Sierra Leone  and help the sick or bury the dead then I would give some money to their charity.

His hair is styled to look like that.
For me it is like pouring petrol on a fire.
55 years ago I collected envelopes with my mother for Save the Children.  Africa hasn't changed that much has it. Except the dictators/elites are fatter and richer.

30 years ago I gave to the original campaign, whats happened in the meantime?  Well "Sir Bob" is now several million better off.

Africa? well starvation is so 1980's, disease is the crowd puller these days, so lets get the show on the road again.

This is all cynical but true tbh.

Geldof is part of the problem, Africa would be better off with fewer people and this could be seen as population control by natural causes, as bad as that is to say
