What about delivering stuff to schools, places of work, etc. Those kind of gift things?
Monday to Friday - 8.30 to 5.00 kinda stuff. You drop off samples, etc and order forms then return about two weeks later for orders, etc. Firms like BETTER BOOKS? They offer a half-decent wage and commission. Not much hassle involved. nd you could exercise in the evenings/weekends and do all your other stuff.... ![]() |

Driving as takethestandsaid "fecks yer back up."
I loved my driving jobs so much that i pretty much became a devoted slave to the wagon. The bonus for me was getting paid to do it. Stop/start driving for extremely long hrs on a daily basis whilst flipping between my stack of cds and the radio. What's not to like? Shalke, this taxi job you do (and you're still evasive 3 pages in), as a private hire do you work for a company or as a sole proprietor? Drive for rich clientele or the 2 bob all walks of life mob? P.S. Taylor to win his 1/4 @ 4/6 (from 8/11)...worth a days pay fella? |

It's been very busy, not sure why ... not complaining though
Hows the holiday going? |
|
By:
At home but on a weeks holiday. Its been ok (a couple of day trips) but weather it rubbish today. Cant do as much as I'd like as coming back to Scotland at Christmas for 4 weeks + 1 week in Paris, and its costing too much. When (and why) are you going to India?
|
|
By:
India is in November (6 weeks time), I qualified for the IBSF World Snooker Championships. I can't wait, it's going to be some experience !! Just hope get visas sorted out in time ...

GL in the snooker. Decent prize pool? |
|

This has turned out to be a very bad example, if wages were like this every week I wouldn't have bothered putting it up lol ... some weeks you can do lots of hours for very little, dunno why this week has been good

Are you including all expenses though? What about one off costs, car tax, insurance, uniform ect. Do you give yourself holiday pay, a pension and other perks? £13 P/H may seem a decent wage but if the above is not included then I don't think it would be much more than minimum wage. |

Could not be ****** today, £44 profit on a saturday is awful !"!

By:
£44 profit? Surely saturday on the taxi's should result in covered a week's expenses?
Self employed & working 24/7 with no paid leave for holidays etc is a vicious cycle. Worrying about taking a day off work as it's a loss of earnings is an unhealthy way to live. Being self employed is not as rosey as some may think. Though Cameron loves the self employed, which tells you all you need to know. Chuck a couple of bags on that taylor bet and take a week or 2 off when it cops. If it goes tits up you can always look forward to another straight 7 days in the hot seat ![]() Talking about the weather and how busy you are/aren't with your passengers must be riveting? |

Day 6 and a very good week comes to an agonising end .. the clutch or the gear box has a problem, garage in the morning !! HATE this job so much !!!!!

By:

|
|
By:
yup, my car mate ...
|
|
By:
my clutch went about 3 weeks ago, 550 pounds lighter and a day off and then trying to chase it back. Hard at the moment
|
|
By:
I got a brand new clutch only 3 months ago, so it must be the gear box ... cars are murder aren't they
|
|
By:
Analyze this >> 4 days off work this week, new clutch in car again !! Only 5 months after I already had one fitted ... this is gonna be -£600 by Thursday
... 3 days of betting to try and cover it |
|
By:
My car's been sat outside all summer since it failed the Mot , needs welding doing so will just have to sell it for a few hundred quid when i can be bothered to even advertise it , quite like not being reliant on it for shopping etc though
I know you've alway loved your betting systems Schalke but have you ever had to make a sole living out of it , it's not actually that much fun sitting all alone watching sport all day long & Knowing you Have to win to pay the bills ![]() |

I bought my own flat last year in cash & moved away
I've had the worst downswings bettingwise & playing poker that i can remember since my mug horsey days , very stressful being alone & having to make it all pay , even if you do there aren't many rewards at the end of a 14 hour day (like yesterday) |
