Ok lads im going to do this, i would be very willing to raise money for cancer doing so but i just dont think people who no me will be willing to sponser knoing my alcohol record, but how would i go about this?

I am too. Been off it for 12 days and am training for a marathon on 2 November. So wont drink until then. Got a week's holiday booked for the algarve the next day too. Cant wait.

I have done 10 weeks and 8 weeks and a few 2 and 3 week sessions teetotal this year. Surprising how easy it is when you have other stuff to concentrate on.

I'm in.Going to cut out tea/coffee as well.Fed up with my irregular sleep patterns ie:waking up just after 3am every and i mean EVERY morning.

Perpared i also was thinking i cant go off it as haloween night, but its on a friday this year and i play football on sats so i dont drink friday nights, so its actually worked out well for me, ive already went a week sober so if i complete this hich i will il be sober 5 and a half weeks

No problem, yea i do mate, feel fresher more motivated, heads clearer to, am applying for jobs and training and stuff. Dont no ho long it will last but im certainly going to try

Mr Masters, there has never been one post on here in over a decade where I have said that I'm hard. The fact I don't take sh!t from anybody doesn't make me hard, as a broken jaw, missing teeth, broken ribs and other scars would prove. I am classed as 'one to be wary of', no more than that. My nose is still untouched though, which is nice. So either you're on the wind-up, or as nervous as a fluffy bunny who'd jump out of his skin if a yob in a hoodie asked him the time.
Newham, on the other hand, is the sh!thole that I was born in. It was a sh1thole long before I was born, and unlike most of the country (but not all) it got worse as time progressed. For the old and infirm, as well as those male youths who don't want to be 'ganged-up', it's now a dangerous sh1thole. Have your local schools got metal detectors on the doors, and security guards on the premises? |
