22 days on the wagon, 20 miles run after work today.  Just put about 1 and a half pounds of oven chips on the go to be served with a whole tin of beans, salad cream, salt and vinegar.  Bring it on, who needs Booze.

Sleeping so much better since i started and i feel a lot fresher and alert.Bit of a dilemma next weekend as i have a golf awayday (sun,mon)and all the guys are pretty much heavy drinkers..not sure whether to stick to my soda water and suffer the taunts.Not missing it at all although i have this strange mindset that i need rewarding ..bit pathetic really.

Day 26 here.  Am currently in the process of putting off my long run, will have to get up and do it soon though.

Can be extremely dangerous to suddenly stop drinking, depending on how much you drank and if you were dependent on it.

Not overallly that much, not as much aas i used to, but usual binge recently about 3 days

Almost reached the end of the month i can honestly say i'm not fussed whether i drink again or not.My usual consumption is 14 pints per week.My wife thinks that's to much but i disagree..what does the panel say?

Being sober is pretty boring. The middle ground is responsible drinking but I haven't quite mastered that yet.

Think about sticking to certain drinks, eating properly before drinking or going out a bit later. If the carnage happens only when you drink with certain people then think about stopping drinking with them.
