RL king punter, yes I've seen Augustines a couple of times including at Koko earlier this year and they were superb. Jack White is brilliant live though not really a fan of the London o2 arena so not sure I'll enjoy it as much as when I've seen him previously. Hopefully Leeds Arena has more soul than it's London equivalent.

Can any of you live music fans have a look at this petition and consider signing it:

As the petition says, this has become the first test case of the new "national planning policy which requires the sound insulation of the building envelope to be optimised for new residences near live music venues"

So could affect venues all over the country.

The developers original application was refused last year after 50,000+ people signed a petition against it. A bit more info from last year can be found here:

Saw The Stranglers Friday night at The Roundhouse. Enjoyed it, played loads of hits and gave the crowd what they wanted and finished with No More Heroes. What more could you want from them?
