We have the media on overdrive trying to paint a negative picture of anyone on benefits,every channel including the bbc making shows about the workshy(minority) instead of those trying their best. 99% of the press using the same tactic,every columnist doing the same. When do we start hearing about unemployed people being beaten up purely because they are unemployed?? That is the way we are heading. I think that's what the tories would like.

Are you sure about that, and if so was it more than one isolated case? People have been beaten up because they were homeless, but there's a fairly good chance that the tw*ts that did it did so because their victims were an easy target. If not a homeless person, they would have picked someone else. |

Labour is identifying itself as a party that wants to beat down anyone in that situation, wants to demonise and stigmatise them" |

if you are unemployed - the government are going to set up a giant treadmill in your house and you have to walk round it for eight hours generating electricity for the chosen ones with jobs. At the same time they will be given a buzzer they have to hit to show they are alert mentally.
