Even worse are the planks who wave at the cameras.

Blokes who were born and bred in Donny but support Leeds, Sheff Wed or Sheff U because they used to be in the Premier League. There's thousands of the bandwagon jumping twa@ts and I hate em.

Colchester United are my team. I can just about deal with the Ipswich, Norwich and Cambridge fans, and at a stretch the West Ham lot, but it's horrible to see three times as many Manchester United shirts as those of every East Anglian league club combined.

In Colchester, that is.

I lived with a guy at uni who grew up within earshot of Old Trafford. He's allowed to support them.

middle-class, middle-aged blokes in summer who insist on dressing themselves in chino shorts & espadrilles. Often seen also sporting a Lacoste short-sleeved shirt - sort of the Holy Trinity of cliched, unstylish, boring, identikit middle-class male summer attire.

I also have an issue with blokes wearing sandals in summers but the above 'look' grates far more.

Is it compulsory to support the football team of the town you live in/were born in? What if you don't like them? What if you don't don't suit that team's colour? What if they employ players from other towns? What if they employ somebody Scott...............Sorry, I can't bring myself to say it. Too distressing! Scared

Bees, wasps, blue bottle flys… flying into your house & either getting stuck in a window frame, or buzzing around a lamp shade at night. I really feel uncomfortable with these buzzing creatures in close proximity.

It isn't compulsory to support your local team, but it's strange how people round here choose to support Leeds, why not Rotherham or York?

Don't suppose many Colchester folk (Cantabrians?) eschew their local team in favour of Braintree either.

BBC sports reporters, particularly those that do breakfast and news bulletins.  Usually women who know nothing about sport.

BBC breakfast obsession with the weather forecast.

Sports news that is basically a sportsman's response to a question.  Eg, "Frank Lampard insists that Chelsea can win the Premier League etc etc..."

People who can't walk in a straight line, cluttering up the pavement, 'cos they're staring at a mobile phone.

Musicals - pretentious pointless **** for gays.

People who take longer than 30 seconds at the airport check-in.  Just hand in your passport and bag and pre-printed boarding pass.  What the fck are you doing having a ten minute conversation which involves phone calls and other members of staff coming along.  Stop holding up the bl00dy queue FFS.

Substitutions in football in the last minute of extra time.

Newsreaders who scan the world map looking for places that the UK is hotter than on a particular day.

You are so right, Danno. This drives me nuts. 5Live do it all the time. It is such lazy journalism & utterly pointless. 'Michael Clarke has not conceded hope of winning the Ashes…' Ridiculous.

'Yeah, I've done South-East Asia' Spot on too, Joel Cry

Supporting Braintree carries the moral hazard of actually having to go to Braintree.

It's not Cantabrians by the way, that's either Canterbury or Cambridge, I forget which. Also Cantabria - which is home to my favourite Spanish football team, Racing Santander.

Pedestrian operated crossings with a long delay between pressing the button and changing the lights.
Why not stop the traffic immediately as they are going to do it eventually anyway.
All that happens is pedestrians get fed up and cross early often taking risks, and drivers get angry when they have to stop for the "invisible man" yet again.

People like the twunt who we followed on the A134 in the wee small hours this morning. As if it isn't slow enough with only 4 miles of dual carriageway for a 74 miles journey, this twunt stuck to 30 m.p.h. from the very first 30 sign he saw, and stayed at that speed, even when the signs changed to 40 and NSL. Thank fack he turned off at Bury St Edmunds, the coont.

It doesn't go away if you switch channels. It's on the radio when you wake up, it's all over the papers when you go to the newsagents. Suppose I could always put ear plugs in, stick my head in the ground for the next week or so & embargo all news coverage but that would be a rather extreme thing to do.

People (usually people who don't gamble much) who use the phrase "It/he/she is the bookies favorite and they don't often get it wrong" not knowing that if the bookies actually didn't often get it 'wrong' said bookies would likely be out of business.
