The green moggy looks like it had been dyed, not painted. Paint would cause the fur to stick together in clumps. The colour would disappear at the next moult.

the picture that is in fact a painting is stunning. i had to stare long and hard before I reached this realisation.
Fake cat picture are simply unfunny due to not being real - only real (or 'could-be-real') things are funny. Having got in close - to establish the facts - I can state categorically that two or three images above contain no cats at all, only puppies. |

Just thought you might like to know that Nimrod will be going to his new home tomorrow. The old lady who owned him has sadly died and having looked after him for a year I'm pleased that her relatives have listened and taken the trouble to find someone who will take care of him. The alternative would have been very upsetting for me. All's well that ends well. |

To be fair she's better off out of it, terminal cancer for a year and no quality of life. Only concern now is who will be the new neighbours. |
