Seen that on sporting life delsie depends when he was interviewed, as o leary was interviewed yesterday evening. we all know from don poli and interesting don cossack, who elliot said at the start of this season he wanted to run in the gold cup last year but michael wanted to win his own race. michael o leary makes the final decision.

That's annoying after implying the Supreme post Yanworth's 2nd victory.....ducking Min I'd imagine; I hope the same does not happen with More Of That in the RSA.

On yanworth at 12s any race and 25/1 neptune. I wouldn't worry too much either race you've backed him for as there will be a few twists and turns yet.
to win any race market when your backing early in the season is deffinately the way to go if you want to be able to sleep soundly at night. |

Goes supreme, but a poor jumper and his last run beating silver concorde was very flattering, de bromhead says he's going for a listed race before cheltenham rather than taking on the big boys in the deloite.

Tempted to back Yanworth for any race as he is still 9/1. Of all the novice hurdlers, he's the one that's impressed me most thus far. For once I took a gamble on a horse going on pure reputation and jumped on the Mullins antepost hype train so sit pretty on Min at 12/1 for the Supreme but I think it's far from cut and dried like some are suggesting, although of course there's every possibility he is another good one. But one day all these ''Min wins'' types will get their fingers very badly burnt. It's about what he faces IMO as we don't truly know the extent of his ability.
Really hope Yanworth bumps into Shantou Village on trials day. That's obviously going to be D Day as to whether he goes Supreme or Neptune. I just love how he pops his hurdles and without wanting to make too much of Champion Bumper form he looked like he enjoyed his surge up the hill last year. If he does meet SV and sees him off he's pretty much ticked all the boxes, although I fear that may be easier said than done. |

Has anyone got any updates on the injured Moon Racer
Short ish fav for the supreme at the start of the season he has started to attract some small interests in the market again and is currently 25/1, owing to the fact probably that those ahead of him in the market we have seen ran and won easily but if this fellow is over his injury he could be miles too big |

Buveur entered 2 races next Friday, currently 8/1 in without Min market.
Have availed myself to decent bet on him,decent price imo. His novice hurdle win been franked few times,so hoping for win next week and will be 2nd fav? |

Wait for Me did sod all to boost Buveur Dair before. I can see the 12/1 ew play, but outside of Min, I'd expect Tombstone, Yorkill and probably Altior to be better. There's still the chance that Yanworth may go for this depending on the ground.
I'd be interested in Bachasson if he is left in when the bookies go NRNB. Travelled really well for 3/4 of the way last time, but completely emptied for some reason and allowed to come home in his own time. If Mullins sends him over, he must think he'll be good enough to take his chance. |

Townshend entered in a 2 mile handicap hurdle at cheltenham on Saturday, very interesting route to take if he goes. Maybe trying to get a handicap mark.

Backed Tombstone earlier this month in the normal market, but didn't notice the w/o Min one. Just had a bit more at 10's in the w/o Min, considering that's his general price in the normal market now.

Question: If I back one without Min e/w 1 - 2 - 3 places, does that mean if Min wins and mine finishes 4th will I be paid?

I believe it means if MIN finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd and your horse finishes 4th then you get paid....

As long as Min finishes in front of your horse yes, you get paid to 4th. If min wins and your 2nd, you get the 'win odds' likewise if min was 2nd and yours was 4th you get place money but if yours was 4th and min was 5th im afraid you have done your doe.
The downside to w/o markets and the reason why i tend not to bet in them is if the horse that the without refers is unplaced or finishes behind yours and your selection wins your only getting paid out to the odds that was taken in the market and not the overall odds in the normal market if that makes sense. But that does all depend on what differences there are in the respective markets. |

Haven't seen anything re connections comments about Tombstone delsie. I have no idea who priced him up - I thought it was Steven Segal's brother Tom, but it wasn't.
Fwiw, I have always seen Tombstone as a 2m, mentioned it in this thread several times. When I saw the sea of blue yesterday, but his price in the w/o Min market was unchanged, I had to go in again before that price collapsed. The Deloitte will hopefully tell us a lot; especially if Bellshill, Yorhill or Min run. |

Not a fan of these 'without' markets in general, but can see the sense if the fav is 1/3 or somesuch.
But Min is BP 7/4 ffs, so the market thinks he is far more likely to lose than win. I can't see why punters are scared to take him on and give up value on their fancies, bookies must be loving it. |

I get that, but Tombstone was top price 12's in the full market or 10's without Min yesterday. 2 points isn't a lot at all, and whatever you think of Min, the race would be a lot easier to win without him.

Ps I'm not running scared of Min; backed Tombstone earlier in the month at 20's in the proper market.
