Listen - Zaidpour will go for the Supreme Novices Hurdle so stop debating it. I know more than you lot.

Ffs grow up Mayweather.
This is an interesting debate and you come along and reduce it to a slagging match.
The whole idea of this forum is so that sensible contributors can put their heads together and discuss issues of horse racing. Hopefully we will all gain from the experience. If you keep coming along with your ridiculous comments and abuse eventually you will be only talking to yourself so ffs be civil.
After all your views are as valid as anyone else's.

CV is clearly in the know [;)] I remember how Willie gave about 80,000 indicators about Mikael Cousin Vinny and Hurricane Fly the year they we're going to the festival. You always knew what race the horses were going to go for Laugh

I really think he's easy to read. Just make sure you read his stable tour at the beginning o the season

The problem with Willie his he usually has 3/4 for each of the nov races, and all with different owners.
Most trainers do not have this problem, its not ideal for us punters but you can't blame him for keeping his cards close to his chest.

to be honest i dont fancy any of his at this stage anyway

This 2m4f race could be the spanner in the works as it's normally quite easy to decide if a horse is better for the Arkle or RSA. While his best novice hurdlers go for Supreme and Neptune. The AB is a poorer race than the Neptune.

Not much, just another of Ricci's aquisitions from France to go with Zaidpour, Mikael, Blackstairmountain and the rake of other good horses she has.

Zaidpour's owner also has Ballyhaunis, which looks a 2.5 mile horse given some of the entries it had during the abandonments. Zaidpour for the Supreme and Ballyhaunis for the Neptune would seem a logical call from an ownership perspective, assuming Ballyhaunis is good enough.

2.05 in Naas tomorrow ! [;)]

If you read the WM website you can see what he thinks about tomorrows runners.

Mullins also gave a positive update on Zaidpour, who like Mikael D'Haguenet, was beaten at odds-on at Leopardstown.

"It's a well-known fact that the meeting was really too soon after Fairyhouse, but we took a chance and Zaidpour only failed by a neck," Mullins added.

"He's well and the next plan is for him to go to Leopardstown for the Deloitte Novice Hurdle (February 6th)."

Zaidpour is running the Neptune, had him backed for the supreme at an average of 6.8 but had to lay out at 8's, have him backed heavily at 10s for the Neptune

In Willie's defence, theres probably not much point in saying which race Zaidpour is going to run in until he runs in the Deloitte on Feb 6th - I've backed him for both races but to me, its a no-brainer that the Neptune Investments Novices' Hurdle is his race. The Supreme Novices' is a much harder race to win and he's bred to stay 2m5f and has already won over 2m4f.

I've done the same, Child. Backed Cue Card and Zaidpour in both. But I think Zaidpour goes for the Supreme. The trouble is I also think CC goes for it as well. I hope not, I want them to miss each other.
My reasoning is that I think Zaidpour is a potential Champion Hurdler whereas Cue Card will go chasing.
Of course I may be wrong but I hope the Tizzard's wait until WM decides where to go and then goes for the other one.

Zaidpours a 2 and half miler i thought,so Neptune should be his race i would think.
That plus Cue card running in the supreme should see Mullins do the right thing, maybe!!
By:

When: 21 Jan 11 19:31
Budd, do you not think WM has the CH in the back of his mind with Zaidpour.
A 1m/10f horse on the flat like Binocular surely the Supreme has to be the way to go. I know he has run over further once but I think that was more about education jumping than anything else. Cue Card did the same.

i dont know mate, would he be thinking about next season? maybe, but he has to do some thinking about this season at the moment.
He has a horse that he knows stays 2 and half well, but then again maybe he thinks it has enough speed for 2m.Could be one of those decisions as late as possible, seeing how the likely ground is panning out.
Who knows Brigust?? i'm just going on what I have seen.

WM in his stable tour rated Zaidpour as a hurdler, never mentioned chasing. Whereas CT said he's already popped CC over fences because that is his future.
CT also said he would 'start off at 2m 4f then decide en route to the festival. He's got so much pace though so we might start him off over 2m'.
Just seems a little uncertain to me and he also said he would run CC every month, six or eight times this season.

Zaidpour will not run in the Supreme of this we are 90%.He will run the Neptune for the reasons discussed above.

Bit more louse69 please. Why 90% and not 100%?
You see I think CC and Z will dodge each other unless something else comes from the woodwork so why 90%?

I was just asking, you had the betfair account since 05, but only posted for the first time last year? ie you didn't just open an account last year you've been a betfair user longer than that. Fair enough.

Louse, you've had the account since 05 so are no betfair blow in, you've a connection to the yard so you couldn't post until last year. Is that what you're saying?

If so fair enough, and you seem quite certain Zaidpour will run in the Neptune. Which is interesting. You are also right Flat Out opened at 10/1 for Irish Arkle.

When: 21 Jan 11 23:53
It actually opened 12s which i didnt get as PP offered it during the Leop Christmas Festival,i dont have much of 10s because of antepost limitations but enoough at 8s to do,please god this is as good as the lads say

Can I ask how you backed Flat Out with PaddyP on the 4th when the market only opened on the 8th and why you said you opened this betfair account in 2005 when you opened it in 2010?

Also how are you connected to the Elliot Cooper and Willie Mullins yards?

This is the last post iam posting on this matter. Are you stupid first of betting was opened on the 27th Dec for the Irish Arkle in PP,VC and BET 365 gave prices on the 4th,Flat Out raced on the 8th you idiot, the odds then came into 9/2.This account was set upin 05,but obviously as stated a million times i did not register to post on the forum until this year. I used to work in the stable for 7yrs
