The only way to describe the Eagles effort today is that they were pathetic and heartless.
They got exactly what they deserved and have still yet to put in a consistent four quarter effort all season and are totally gonski now if they weren't already after the loss to the crows. I made the fatal mistake of thinking seeing their season was on the line that they might actually show some heart and lift, silly me. They got me for only the second time all season I backed them heavily in the Port game and in this game as well and did back most of my winnings from the Port game so am just slightly in front on my them this year. They have a bunch of players there who have got so far ahead of themselves that it's ridiculous and whom need to go back to getting their hands dirty next season. I wish them a long arduous, scorchingly, hot preseason, to think I pay $670 a season to sit in that shiithole Subiaco to put up with that shiiit, I have no problem losing if your have a crack and aren't good enough but I have a real problem though when you just run up the white flag whenever things get too tough and ever since last years Grand Final that's happened way too many times. Hope Geelong or Sydney win it now. |

Yeah he's playing. And it's such an even season, the 3 close losses they have had are really hurting. That's why they need to win today!

Excactly, no one really cares about finishing on top at the end of the regular season, it's The Grand Final that counts....they can still do it but their most important player is injured at the moment and needs to be back in time for the finals.

Kurt Tippett, Buddy is pretty good but Tippett I think is more important because he is doing most of the ruckwork now and can go forward too.

cool thanks for educating a newbie. how are the good old Collingwood doing? I still remember a game earlier in the season where they won but failed to cover a handicap I needed. I was a bit annoyed but then they played this song at the end and all the players were high fiving the fans and it made me chuckle.

They cant make the playoffs but they had a good win against the Eagles yesterday which helps the Swans a bit because the Eagles are in a similar position to the Swans. |

Wow just looked up the 18 team injury lists. WCE has the shortest injury list and i think of the past 3 weeks the should have lost the 3. Carlton so unlucky not to have won.
Easy draw has helped them stay in the top 8. Thinking st kilda or port melb had a better chance. Whoever gets the WCE in the first week of the finals has a arm chair ride...o er rated in my opinion |
