Bulldogs at half time should be further in front..not bad for a team with players not battle harden due to injuries.

Will they have gas left for 2nd half? Go the underdoggies

Me either.
But win or lose, they've still played deeper into September than West Coast....even if it's only 2 days Excited

oh dear ... Wimps Coming East stayed home and .... wimped it !! Super effort from bullies, full marks to their doctors who performed a miracle getting libba and mccrae back in time for finals. Bulldogs pace will worry geelong i reckon.... cats would be doing themselves a big favour beating hawks tomorrow.

Interesting game tonight.  Great weatger for ducks in melbourne  promises to be a muddy slog between gawks - cats. Whoever loses will not beat the bulldogs next week

thinking the wet will suit hawks more than geelong. geelongs defence will tend to be more on ball than zoning and mopping up with the big marks ... this suits hawks gun small forwards imo, cyril and poppy.
Has lets stopped crying yet Shocked

flemingtons condition will also be interesting. the track manager probably watered it Wink knowing his level of expertise.

Eaglesd performance symptomatic of their entire season very o inconsitent, all credits tot he dogs as I've said all year amazing effort fromthem considering the injuries they've suffered all year. They comprehensively outplayed us form the outset, Eagles weren't able to put any pressure ontheir kickers or bal carriers at virtually any stage, pathetic effort really and arguably a wrose performance than in last years Grand Final because this was at home. Never inthe entire history of the have they performed so poorly in a final played at home, got w exactly what e they deserved, a wasted year hopefully a few wil go away and take good long hard at themselves as were thinking they were a lot better than what they were.
North's performance's arguably a lot worse, they were nine and zip and scraped into the finals by the skin of their teeth.
Eagles were always pushing **** uphill until late very late in the season. No contest as to who is a worse side and as to whom will be dropping off the cliff, Dog act to terminate Harvey.

What a phenomenal game and the right result you bloody beauty Geelong, would have been a travesty if the hawks had pinched that in the end

just showed how hard it is to kick a major with tired legs. dogs v hawks is going to be a ripper, two completely different styles trying to dominate.... can't wait for it !!

the G was in top condition. i reckon put goodie, kerr and bailey in a rocket to the moon and replace them with the curator and ground staff that look after the mcg. You can't have a bet at flemington or sandown now until at least three races have been run... what's it come to when you can't decide whether Moonee Valley or Sandown should be excavated and sold for dog kennel apartment blocks Cry

Wow just looked up the 18 team injury lists. WCE has the shortest injury list and i think of the past 3 weeks the should have lost the 3. Carlton so unlucky not to have won.
Easy draw has helped them stay in the top 8. Thinking st kilda or port melb had a better chance.
Whoever gets the WCE in the first week of the finals has a arm chair ride...o er rated in my opinio

GWS will be in the grand final. Cant see hawks or doggies beating them. Sadly imo looks a sydney GWS grand final.

On the also rans. ADEL AND WCE have a 6 goal advantage at home. Loses to WCE by 48 and north by 61
My calculations north did a better effort than the wimpy WCE.
North with a depleted unsettled side done exceptionally well considering and gave 3 goals away in the last few minutes when the game was truely over . Bullies get the injured back but not fully battle harden and belted the sh*t out of WCE. 48 plus the 36 point advantage = 84 points

WCE one year away from rebuilding. Way to many players 29 + next year. The current group wont win jack sh*t

yep ... scott rightly blamed all the injuries to the core group for norths eventual demise. Maybe north needs a biochemist and a scientific program based on experimentation to counter the etihad effect WinkWinkCool. He made plenty himself, imo, though and for norths sake i hope he gets it right with the kids coming in next year. Have heard from insiders at north that two or three of them will be v. good players.

Can't wait to see the look on chris scott's face if it's GWS V Geel !!! and steve johnson starts kicking goals from every point of the compass Grin

Dream on Megsy, your coach might not even be there next year abandoning ship to try to resurrect Brisbane or so the rumours go, it would want to be a long term deal.

One thing for sure is that long term he'll be working with a great deal more talent than North currently has.

No excuse I know but half the Eagles had the flu, might explain why they were so sluggish all night, effort was still pitiful but it explains a bit.

Lets...not my coach, putting the wind up you with your outlandish statements. Agree with VeryLTU north have some serious talent u leashed and i have mention that.
Blames scott for not mixing the youth with experiance. Saying that.it wont be a rebuild. They will go hard for a elite mid fielder

North has more upside than the Sh*t WCE's
