ww .... they laugh because blokes that are nearly 7 foot tall and a 120 kg aren't supposed to be able to bounce a footy and sprint and even kick the ball straight, it's just not a skill set the majority of them have ever had ... and so when one of 'em does it people find it humourous.ps: don't write off the orks as a flag threat yet.... the good sides at the pointy end have usually jsut started ramping up at this time of the season. the best side i've ever seen was a few goals behind at half time in nearly every game until four games out froom finals... and then just started destroying other sides from first bounce. |
By:
the orks?
By:
Gee GWS have got some talent at their disposal, they're going to be a force for some time in the very near future, if not sooner, if they can keep them all together.
By:
the orks = the Hawks ww.
they will definitely miss roughead and hale at the pointy end but can't be written off just yet. |
By:
my novice pick is the Swans to win it all.
By:
Lets,
What i have been saying the last 3-4 Years about GWS? They if dont win it this year will win the next 3. GC will be gifted more as they want QLD to be strong. They need to cull 2 teams maybe 4 Its to un even |
By:
who do the good old Collingwood play this weekend?
By:
Pies $2.70
Bulldogs $1.48 MCG Sunday arvo ........ will be a ripper !! pre game Pies flag odds 90/1. |
By:
thanks. easy for the mighty Sydney Swans once again
By:
so far.... they look light years quicker than north atm.... and getting some support atm, as they play, for the premiership. Midfield looks verrryyyy smart.
By:
yeah I'm pretty sure they're gonna win the Premiership this time around
By:
tried, in vain, to get a few g on them at $9.00 for flag two weeks ago
.... now $6.00 as typing. Definite threat to Cats imo. |
By:
Oh dear, reality check for North, can't possibly win the flag as I've repeatedly stated and that's despite the fact they'll probably finish top 4.
By:
BUDDY YOU BEAUTYYYYYYYYYYY
By:
reality check for north hey lets elope? you have been waiting 10 eeks to put the boots in to north..IMO may have been a different result if played in melbourne. the upside north played too top heavy on a small ground...maybe you will realise franklin always plays upfield and the great wayne carey had to do the same at the SCG. just like WCE , well i shouldnt class sydney as your mob. hopeless playing interstate. north were over due for a loss, and a healthy loss only 4 goals. injured goldstein and still 5 players missing....it wasnt a bad loss after all. ps...sydney has by far the best midfield of any team.
By:
Bulldogs st kilda melbourne sydney GWS i predict to hold the top 6 positions on the ladder next year , carlton still 2 years away but will also become a force. North, hawthorn, fremantle, WCE, will loose ground after this year.
By:
Also lets if north finishes in the top 4 which i doubt..have the hardest run home.i hope they get the opportunity to play WCE in melbourne. WCE only won the prem final being played in WA
By:
I'm not talking about the Eagles chances just that North can't and won't win it, they're the equivalent of last season's Dockers.
By:
Cats 20 points down. Started the game with the line at -48.5. Playing horrible footy. Carlton inspired. But have only had 2 on the bench for a quarter now, and will go the next half the same.
The straight up true odds from here is Geelong 1.754 to win. Can get 1.73 on Crown, with Carlton at a huge disadvantage in the final half. Watching the game, very risky bet. But based on the numbers, Geelong have to be considered HUGE overs at that price. |
By:
Disgusting effort, and big halt on premiership claims after that.
By:
go blues !!!

GC Suns last 5 game margins. (120-73-91-75-77)

nothing to worry about cats fans.... just another case of wayne the stopper declaring geelong and getting all his pension on. Everythng will be back to normal next week.

Its good we are winning but its Hurting our Rebuild.
Isnt that crazy to say that. We have Good Top 10 then the list drops right off. Most of them will Drop off over the years. Its Crazy that you have to bottom out to be good these days. GWS has robbed most of the Youth and still will. Its great Collingwood wont make it and their Rd1 Goes to GWS. There are to many teams. Cull 4 of them. Send 1 To Gold Coast to Merge. Look at Crowds for the weeker followings they are winning and nobody turns up. |
By:
When was the last time the Hawks bottomed out? The Swans?
By:
wayne the stopper is a good friend of mine who is the unluckiest person i've ever known. When he piles it on something that is "unbeatable"..... it stops or the game gets turned around immediately and in the majority of his bets. He backs in play mainly and always short priced events that otherwise appear to be certainties. Miracles happen when he bets, i've seen him beaten when new records have been set on at least half a dozen occaisions. In the crew i hang around with ... people just shake their heads in disbelief at what happens when he gets his bet on..... and the more he bets... the worse the miracle is. He is like some others that have been on hte bf forum ..... has lost his house, car, wife, everything except the pension (and has almost blown that with money lenders like money3 etc. etc. etc.) and lives in a pub. I'm not kidding, he is, of the billions of people on this planet... THE most incredible loser you could ever meet. And yet........ i've never once seen or heard him complain about his luck.... accepts it like the champion bloke that he is.
By:
he's on the pension and lives in a pub but is able to "pile it on something that is "unbeatable""
nice "story," I guess it's all relative though |
By:
Joel,
Hawks Bottomed out and where terrible for 5-6 Years. They then drafted smart Roughy, Lewis, Hodge, They did that deal with Freo, Croad for picks then 2 years later got him back. Made most of Free Agency as players dont want to play for weak teams. Carlton were rebuilding beautifully till they went out and gave away the world for Judd. |
By:
how do you think he got to be living in the pub, ffs ur a dumb f.k..... i've seen him in action for forty years, actually seen him sell his house and punt it on certainties that got beaten. Beaten certainties had this bloke living out of his car for two years until ..... someone stole it and all his worldly goods (how lucky can u get) and the salvo's were the last resort. Too proud to even shack out with a mate. And trust me, when uve blown it all and hit 65 and get the pension ..... and punt it all a week before ur card goes in the hole at 6:20 thursday next week ....... that is piling it on just the same as when ur putting one or two g's on a favourite at flemington..... that's relative. imo.

Dangerfield .. a lazy 220 plus supercoach points.... ffs he's a machine. Still the cats got exposed a bit by roos tonight. too many geelong players don't go hard for more than a half, north nearly had them if their midfield didn't get wounded.
By:
couldnt agree more..geelong exposed.. shame norths mid field were taken out early and dangerfield and selwood were able to have the ball on a string with nobody running with them. north looked the better team early.
By:
What a game north. 11 players out and if not for bad kicking would have won..what do you think of them now lets?.. no doubt you will neet them in 3 weeks still depleted which helps any team.. as good as norths playing they will now struggle to hold a spot in the top 4 due to ling list of injuries
By:
Which was my point entirely, they had a very good run early no injuries and a very easy schedule early, nowwith an ageing list and a proven history of players on their list who never play a full season they've shown they;re not up to it. This was always going to be the case, they'll limp into the finals just like the dockers did and you'll probably get a similar result to what happened with them. North huffed and puffed as they always do but when push came to shove they were lacking against a hawks team below their best and on the decline this season.
Geelong, Sydney GWS and the Dogs are the serious contenders. |
By:
lol lol lol...your a funny fella lets...past 2 previous years you made other excuses....ummm only waite of the older list is injured...get it right.. take 11 players out of WCE and your a **** team. cunnington swallow fit last week they beat geelonh...cunningto swallow played this week..they win. controlled the game most the night, won the fights, dominated pocession. just kicked badly. hope they play WCE in melb during the finals lets.
By:
i just realised lets you never put WCE in your top 4?... such a young team and over rated last year like north i guess?
your a funny bloke lets. |
