trialled sensationally before his stunning debut win Friday at Addington, home in 26.4
a 4yo so he's either had a few issues or they've been very patient

only three weeks to the big Cup and the cream is starting to rise
even Messini looked good fresh up winning the Methvern Cup on Sunday
my early ruffie Te Kawau is sacked till further notice
Arden Rooney may be the only "aussie" in the big one but has some hope at 14/1 best odds with the NZ TAB
it's a shame no one has e/w betting up yet
can't wait till next Monday at Ashburton, fields should be out soon

By:

interestingly for the two mile Dominion Handicap (the south islands biggest trot race) Stent is fave @ 3.0
Monbet 10.0 and One Over Da Moon 14.0 but Stent is evens over his pet distance when he couldn't have been more impressive first up
If that's not a good bet then I give up

the last race on Monday is another interesting affair, New Years Jay an 8yo mare who's 13-7-0, fresh but won a two horse trial over 2600m
Art Union classy and impressive victory last start.  Didjamakembolt a 7yo who's 9-6-1, fresh up after beating Border Control at the trials
Have Faith In Me last seasons superstar 3yo fresh from his Jewels victory in 1:52:5 30th May but not sighted at the trials, classy stablemate Willow also fresh with no trial

there will be future winners galore from this one....

g'day trotman, I'm banned from TABCORP, apparently I'm an arber but I've never planted a tree
and I'm determined to get to Kiakoura next year as I'm living in NZ for a year or three (it's a long story)

I take that back about Philadelphia Man, watched the tape and a massive 2nd but he seems a bit unreliable from a punting point of view?
By:

there's great coverage of trotting over here, they replay all races and most trials
but coverage of aussie harness not so good as they give preference to the local product and don't show some races
most annoying as today at Redcliffe for example 5 of 9 races televised, sucks when I like betting inplay
but at least you can bet inplay on sport here and access the Betfair Casino (not that I do)
By:

saw on the TV today that since 1972 only 46 horses of any code have won and paid over $100 on the NZ TAB
the $165 winner at Addington last week was the 2nd biggest divvie for a harness winner since then

the one hour weekly Harness show they have here, The Boxed Seat makes In The Gig look the waste of space that it is, a million times better!
except you have to cop an hour of Mick Guerin, at least they don't show his distracting shoes any more

STENT still evens today, obviously my $5 e/w didn't strike the fear of God as I thought it would
still no other markets up for the race, think I'll keep some powder dry till there is
and you can usually get better than bookies odds here on most NZ harness races
By:

is this a bit OCD? I've downloaded and saved NZ form guides since 1998 and have 99.9% of them
it all started so I hade a reference to NZ horses exported to Oz
it's good to see harness.org is starting to catch hrnz.co but still has a bit to go
now that harness.org give links to replays of every runners race history it saves me about three hours per week in updating databases that are now unnecessary so well done to them

Nat Ras, what a tough sheila she is! involved in a nasty race fall on Sunday then drives Messini to victory
in a two miler with a busted elbow.  Out for six weeks which is a real shame for the All Stars as she's the queen of cool in big races.  I wish her a speedy recovery and she will be sorely missed over Cup week, pardon the pun, or is that purdon the pun?

actually Trotman now that I think about it was a self imposed exile after starting a similar thread to this
for the NZ Cup last year, got very little response and what I did get was negative as per usual so I took the bat and ball and folded up the tent but hey, I'm a glutton for punishment and have a new set of Teflon overalls

and for you henry the next Pro surfing event has been on hold for a few day as the surf in Portugal
hasn't cooperated, the only possible upsets in the first round are maybe Miguel Pupo, Jadson Andre and Kolohe Andino
multi's with the faves would be my suggested bets at this stage but I really want to see the conditions before comiting....wax on, wax off, wax on, wax off

I expect nothing henry lol, that was a joke I made on the other thread to spare myself the embarrassment of "going over the falls" and wipeing out in public

Happens so very often trots in play...more often than not appears as a giveaway....can only think its a "trade"...backed at higher dividend (in play or pre race start)..so profit to the layer and is just sharing his chocolates....unless its HFT bot to suck in other bots or players to get higher dividend
