Bart has forgotten more about horses and training than Aiden would ever dream of knowing, its  as simple as that.

As ever, So You Think travelled strongly early on, but found little for pressure

you keep repeating the same max ...

so please answer this question ...

if YOU know that SYT is not up to the grade ... then ...

WHY doesn't aiden ?

if you know SYT's limitations .. then why doesn't aiden LOL

... imo .. because aob is a one dimensional production line trainer

aiden is making big mistakes in his placement of SYT ... according to your summation

so if you know ... why doesn't aiden know ...

unless he is just not the magical trainer ... that you have deluded yourself into believing

i think our english counterparts forget, SYT is a grass track galloper and its taken track records to beat him in 3 of his 4 defeats, the other, well we know what happen against rewilding.

lets turn the attention to Frankel...seriously who has he beaten to date? canford cliffs? a broken down hack lke his last run showed.

Frankel, champion 3yr old no doubt, but he is yet to prove himself as a 4 yr old. some horses dont improve or they go backwards, just look at workforce.

so schools out in my opinion with frankel until he dominates open class with higher weights.

i argue my case on Excelebration performances, 2nd best miler in the world, Australian sired horse, if the english feel australia dont have decent horses, makes Frankel just a ordinary run of the mill champion of his year....doesnt it??

Did they happen to notice what Ortensia did to their sprinters?
And she is conservatively 8-10 lengths off Black Caviar and 6-8 off Hay List.

the bottom line is ...

if we were to agree with topfarrier & max ... that SYT is not up to the grade of race aob runs him in ...

then the only FOOL ... is aiden o'brien for running the horse ... (how can aob NOT find the right race lol)

that is the reality ... max

on your own UK/Irish assertions ... the biggest fool is the trainer aob ...

and that is what we have been arguing for the past how-ever-many-months   Laugh

a lot of AOB wins come 98-06 when he had $100million more on other trainers to spend, switches jockeys right and centre so maybe he doesn't have a clue and is relying purely on the track work jockeys more then anything.

interesting FACT ...of all place getters in frankel's 3yr old starts, only 2 horses have won a race ...Excelebration and the other won a grd 3 handicap.Shocked

Thebas, who said the horse is not up to running in G1's?Megsy, Excelebration is not an Aus horse as well you know.

Big ted, according to most of you on here ratings are meaningless,so what's your point?Crazy snake, our sprint division is our weakest, nobody denies that. And our best sprinters were not in that race anyway.Porky if i were to reply to you i would be lowering myself.Lets elope.AOB is 42 yrs old and look what he has done so far.Just about covers it.

I think SYT is a finished subject now, been done to death.Let's wait for BC at Ascot. That will give us something to talk about.

And you mugs have finally cottoned on that the SYT whilst decent and a trier is nothing like as good as some of you Aussie mugs made out.

Has Frankel only raced at 3 then by the way? Look through the horse's whole race career and he's had any number of GR1 winners in behind in both seasons that had already won multiple Gr1s or went on to, so wipe away the bitterness and tears and do some research. Plus has it ever occurred to you that plenty of other trainers decided it wasn't worth taking him on when Frankel's such a good horse and even if nothing behind him won another race, the horse can only win and go unbeaten and what more do you want from the it?

Imagine that eh, a bunch of Aussies not taking defeat too well and then they have the front to go on about whinging poms......sometimes this sh1t writes itself. JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED IT MEGSY,MY POINT EXACTLY.Do some proper research and don't cherrypick parts of a horses career to suit your argument.SillyWink

Unless of course Maxim-Reality we are doing Megsy a disservice and he knows exactly what he is doing by wording his statement to manipulate things and suit his own argument.

Limiting it to horses placed behind Frankel but only during his 3YO career means you can't including Nathaniel (King George winner), Treasure Beach (Chester Vase, Irish Derby, Grade 1 Secretariat Stakes winner and narrow Epsom Derby runner up) Roderic O'Connor (Group 1 Criterium International and Irish 2000 winner), Dream Ahead (July Cup, Sprint Cup and Prix De La Foret winner, all Gr1s) and so that only leaves Excelerbation and his German 2000, Hungerford and a Gr1 win at Longchamp plus Dubawi Gold winning the Celebration Mile at Goodwood and the fact that horses like Strong Suit won 3 more Group races including at Royal Ascot and Goodwood after being beaten by Frankel, or that Casamento won a Group race at Longchamp also after having been beaten by Frankel, doesn't count as franking the form because they finished further down the field when behind Frankel and not actually placed.

Apparently neither was the form boosted by the fact that Immortal Verse prior to finishing placed behind Frankel went into that race off of a 3 group winning race hat trick of which 2 were Gr1s because that happened before being beaten by Frankel. Nor does it matter that the likes of Canford Cliffs was a multiple Gr1 winner because that was also before being beaten by Frankel, or that Rajaman although beaten 10L by Frankel was only 4th so it doesn't mean he franked the form just because the horse won a Gr2 later on because it wasn't placed behind Frankel or that **** Turpin was 8L behind Frankel but had won a Gr1 by a short head the race before when beating Cityscape and that one has just won a near £2million race by over 4L in Dubai but none of this counts because they weren't actually placed behind Frankel in his 3YO season.

If you specify the criteria strictly enough, that would be a bit like saying that Lionel Messi fella is sh1t because look how few headers he has scored this season in the last 15 minutes of games on away grounds whilst wearing a short sleeved shirt and white boots! Laugh

Erroneous. Bart won in HK with Catalan Opening. Stupid argument though as jet hopping around the globe with horses was hardly the done thing in the era in which Bart was in his prime, not to mention the different geographical location.

max..i enjoy taking the mickey out of ima_mazed66 Happyreason i put it up. i hope he got writers crampLaugh

but i did say frankels 3 yr old races and "place getters behind him" not his 2 yr old races. as ima has mentioned nathaniel whom he beat first start as a 2 yr old

2yr old form and 3yr old form are totally different all together, some improve, others dont, and some go backwards.

but what i wrote was FACT in black n white for to see if one looks at his race record.

i like watching frankel as the next guy. after reading the races he is likely to contend i feel they are attempting to protect his unbeaten record but sticking to the mile mainly.

as i posted to ima.

Treasure Beach won at  1m 2f and 1m 4f
Roderic O'Connor running in 1m 2f, 1m 4f
Dream Ahead 6f and 7f
Casamento won a weak grp 3 at 1m 2f
Strong Suit won at 7f

seems those mentioned by im amazed were sprinters or middle distance horses, NOT milers,

tells the story, sprinters you expect to weaken at the mile, middle distance horse's just winding up

show me one besides the australian sired  Excelebration that he has beaten that was a spealised miler like himself ?  just one please Happy ( injured canford cliffs doesnt count ) just his age group.

the bottom line is ...

if we were to agree with topfarrier & max ... that SYT is not up to the grade of race aob runs him in ...

then the only FOOL ... is aiden o'brien for running the horse ... (how can aob NOT find the right race lol)

that is the reality ... max

on your own UK/Irish assertions ... the biggest fool is the trainer aob ...

and that is what we have been arguing for the past how-ever-many-months   Laugh

*************

he ain't so smart max ... if you are correct about SYT .. and topf is correct about SYT ... then how come silly aiden CAN'T SEE IT YOO ...

so who is wrong max ... you and topf ... OR aiden ?

You can argue all you like, but the simple fact is that SYT is clearly not the same horse as when he raced in Aus. He has lost something under AOB he obviously had with Bart and it's up to AOB to figure out what.
The raw material is there and something is amiss. A clearly gifted trainer such as AOB should find it.

You only have to look at the horse to realise what's he's lost and that is his magnificent turn of foot, and guess why because he's a compeltely different body shape has lost a high % of his muscle mass from where he gets his drive and power due to aiden's I have had High chapparals before and I know how to train them, one size fits all training, plus the arduous travel schedule. Not a shadow of the horse he was when he left australia.
You want to learn something about your genius trainer MAxim go back and watch the video of his performances as a 4yo in australia under Bart and look closely at his body shape and what a big powerful imposing animal he was, now compare this to how he looked in Dubai and during his european cmapaign last year he looks a completely different horse. By the way as soon as he walked into the yard in dubai I knew he couldn't win he looked shocking. O'Brien doesnt have  a clue how to train this horse and the constant blunders he has made with it clearly indicate this. It's a factory mentality if they handle it they go well if they don't, good horse fall by the wayside, a sign of a top trainer is his willlingness to alter his normal routine to suit an indvidual horse clearly o'brien isn't capable of or stubbornly won't do this and I don't know which is worse.
when interviewed while the horse was stillunbeaten in europe Bar said he's going just ok  but from what I've seen to my eye he doesnt look  as big and strong and physically the same horse, guess what he absolutely spot on.

O'Brien's training, handling of and the racing tactics employed with this horse have nothing been short of incompetent.
He has in fact in succeeded in at least halving if not more than halved his value.

PremFantasy  .. if you ... (and max and topf of course) .. have WORKED OUT THE HORSES ABILITY LIMITATION ... then

why hasn't aiden ffs lolololol ... why does aisen keep falling for the 3 card trick

for example ... one ... going to the US ... after his last campaign had finished .. to run on the dirt vs the lasix horses lol

example two ... the dubai surface

why is it YOU guys can asll see and position SYT correctly in your minds

but aiden CAN'T ????  LaughLaughLaugh

bottom line ... the horse is the horse ... pity aiden can't work it out Wink
