So you must disagree with Abbotts latest position on CLIMATE CHANGE when he says it's man made. Who's telling PORKIES? So according to your previous posts, he must either be deluded or a LIAR.

THE CLIMATE CHANGE MYTH THAT ABBOTT WANTS US TO PAY FOR>>>>>>
![]() ![]() FROM THE LIBS OWN WEBSITE Tony Abbott interview with Rob Kidd, Radio 4CC - Julia Gillard’s carbon tax; natural disaster recovery 02/03/11 ROB KIDD: Do you still believe that there is a… TONY ABBOTT: Do I believe in climate change? I think that’s what you’re trying to ask me, Rob. ROB KIDD: Well, yeah, I mean everyone’s views change around the place. TONY ABBOTT: Sure. Well, my position is that climate change is real, mankind does contribute, we should take sensible precautions against the possible impact of climate change and that’s why we’ve got this clear, practical and achievable Direct Action policy which will actually purchase lower emissions through more trees, better soils and smarter technology. It will actually reduce emissions rather than simply make it more expensive to turn your air conditioner on, make it more expensive to run your car. LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

After today's newspoll AFL, it's safe to say your a minority.
Australian's are furious. And rightly so. But this is just the beginning. I'm not going to stop, the Coalition isn't going to stop and Tony Abbott isn't going to stop until we see this bad government thrown out of office. It is divided, a failure, not delivering, a tax-a-holic government and led by a Prime Minister who brazenly betrays the public deceitfully before an election. Can also say one last thing, regarding your regurgitated article postings......your desperation is growing and hilarious ![]() |

People will keep going on about the lie and it will hurt Julia - she just has to explain it as it is
Labor policy (and Liberal before Abbott took over) was to put a price on carbon via an ETS - they tried to get that through the parliament 3 times and failed. Julia campaigned saying she would not have a carbon tax - not because she didn't want a price on carbon but because she wanted to go straight to an ETS. There was an election, we now have a hung parliament, the Greens did very well in that election winning the balance of power in the Senate and a seat in the lower house. The Greens were not prepared to wait the years it would take to go straight to an ETS and want instead to get there via a carbon tax - i.e. the model proposed by Ross Garnaut in his report. As such Julia, who has always openly wanted a price on carbon, has changed track and agreed that the way to go is via a carbon tax to an ETS So this big lie is more about semantics than anything else - NOBODY can argue Julia Gillard did not, and does not, want to put a price on carbon - it's just the tax vs the ETS which is up for argument. Saturday will be very interesting - who gets the bigger turnout - the no tax campaign or the for action campaign - head to head in Melbourne this Saturday, $1.01 I will be at the bigger rally IMO |

Spot on womble.
Murdoch/Shock jocks will only cover the Anti Carbon Tax rally. |
|
By:
most likely AFL, the shock jocks definitely, Murdoch not so sure - although he has some deniers like Bolt he believes in climate change himself apparenly
interesting the UK moving to introduce a price on carbon yesterday as well - do we follow the world or get left behind??? |

good morning team
afl ask all the questions you want bud , don't expect an answer anytime before the questions asked of you AP hits the nail on the head and undisputedly Ladies and Gentleman.... took a straw poll down the pub the lie is the issue here... she could be trying to save the baby penguins ...it doesn't matter and btw fk the dirty greens why give in?, cant the dumb liar see public AND HER OWN party's opinion of getting in bed with these loonies is killing them, no reason to force this carp anytime before an election and try to get a MANDATE, i mean are the greens going to withdraw support and god forbid support tony , hardly!! how fkn stupid pushing all bob down browns rubbish through interesting the UK moving to introduce a price on carbon yesterday as well - do we follow the world or get left behind??? womble what exactly do we miss out on please? saving our beaten taxpayer from destruction i suggest and dont worry about business it gets passed on. Exporting Business wil hurt big time against non carbon tax nations, so i suggest a delay would in fact BE A BIG PLUS sheesh if you guys had a brain to think things through you'd be dangerous |
|
By:
it doesn't work that way thought Secong - say you run a business in the renewable energy sector and you have a country like England getting ready to put a price on carbon and invest in what you have to offer vs a country like Australia that keeps arguing about what they should do - where do you invest and put your jobs???
business wants certainty and like most will admit a price on carbon is inevitable - the longer we wait the more opportunities we miss out on because they'll go where the decisions have been made instead |
|

total bs womble

|
By:
SC in your opening post, you call climate change a myth. Abbott disagrees with you, and we are stil going to pay for this myth with his plan. Who are you going to vote for?
|
|
By:
say you run a business in the renewable energy sector
oh yeah how many are there? a pretty compelling reason NOT)for the how many in this sector to want certainty against the wishes of the majority of aussies whom may i suggest have MPs elected to represent their views no less, not some con job with questionable science from PAID employees of govts the world over |
|
By:
you obviously missed my earlier post so here it is again just for you AFL
good morning team afl ask all the questions you want bud , don't expect an answer anytime before the questions asked of you |
|
By:
The hung parliment changed her position and Abbotts also, with his admission that everything was on the table now that the new Gov't would have to negotiate with the IND"s to form Gov't.
|
|
By:
that still didnt answer the simple question,
and the greens would have given support for her over tony every day of the week (FACT) with or without the carbon tax deliberate lie which a very strong majority of aussies is concerned with, i mean what lie next they think? |
|
By:
questions you refuse to give a straight answer to
who said prior to the 2010 federal election 'there will be NO CARBON TAX under the government i lead?" what part of 'there will be no carbon tax under the govt i lead' is not a lie please? |
|
By:
It was not a lie if she honestly believed it at the time. You are presuming that she said it knowing that if elected she would introduce it. How can you prove it was a lie as opposed to a change of position, because of the hung parliment?
|
|
By:
Now i have had a few tries at answering your questions, even though they might not be the answers you wanted. How about you answer mine?
|
|
By:
Secong it's pretty straight forward - if Julia won the election we would be going straight to an ETS not via a carbon tax
she didn't, we aren't surely you can accept that in the future the majority of the world's energy will be provided through renewable energy sources 1 - because the non-renewable ones are running out 2 - because more and more countries are putting a price on carbon therefore making the alternatives much more competitive And finally, as AFL has clearly pointed out, Tony Abbott now (well this month anyway) accepts that climate change is real and that man is playing a part - it's no longer about that he says, it's about how we address it So left cheering for the "it ain't real team" are yourself and a few others |

one that doesnt keep looking for ways to screw the aussie public to pay for their fk ups, i do believe the coalition inherited a nightmare and squared up and put us clearly in a position to weather to GFC easily, the envy of the entire world, this govt continues to squander $ left right and centre all without direction easy decision really, in fact we wouldnt be having this discussion if not for work choices , PM Costello would be flying - and yes work choices was wrong and i voted for kev07 so i am not one eyed |

They don't get it.
wombleoz and AFL. They just DON'T get it. To them, people like secong and I, are in the minority. They don't understand the public's anger. They don't even understand the lie. They don't understand the lack of the detail. They don't understand the Rudd opportunity for a double dissolution election in 2010. And they definetely don't understand what a MANDATE is. I mean listen to Wayne Swan continue to spin lies on the weekend. Apparently this carbon tax isn't a tax because it doesn't get deducted directly from your pay. ![]() Wtf, I mean, WTF? ![]() So whats the GST then, Wayne. And Julia Gillard last night pretty much confirms she'll desperately be splashing the cash on a Carbon Tax campaign - at the expense of the taxpayer. ![]() No need for a mandate says JuLIAR. Just spend millions of public dollars and TRY in vein to manipulate the public thinking. I mean even Independent and crucial lower house MP Tony Windsor has come out and slammed the PM for even contemplating this in addition to slamming the entire government's approach to this carbon tax. ![]() But hey, to the deluded, the anger isn't real out there in the community. The usual bullsh1t is starting to filter through you know - "its the shock jocks" or "its the Murdock media". ![]() The denial is great. Keep it coming comrades. Keep it coming. Labor are drowning in this debate. Pathetic timing, no detail, during the NSW election campaign, a poor message, a woeful sales pitch, continual denial of JuLIARs lie and it goes on and on. |
