So you must disagree with Abbotts latest position on CLIMATE CHANGE when he says it's man made. Who's telling PORKIES? So according to your previous posts, he must either be deluded or a LIAR.

Labor policy (and Liberal before Abbott took over) was to put a price on carbon via an ETS - they tried to get that through the parliament 3 times and failed.  Julia campaigned saying she would not have a carbon tax - not because she didn't want a price on carbon but because she wanted to go straight to an ETS. 

There was an election, we now have a hung parliament, the Greens did very well in that election winning the balance of power in the Senate and a seat in the lower house. The Greens were not prepared to wait the years it would take to go straight to an ETS and want instead to get there via a carbon tax - i.e. the model proposed by Ross Garnaut in his report.  As such Julia, who has always openly wanted a price on carbon, has changed track and agreed that the way to go is via a carbon tax to an ETS

So this big lie is more about semantics than anything else - NOBODY can argue Julia Gillard did not, and does not, want to put a price on carbon - it's just the tax vs the ETS which is up for argument.

Saturday will be very interesting - who gets the bigger turnout - the no tax campaign or the for action campaign - head to head in Melbourne this Saturday, $1.01 I will be at the bigger rally IMO

most likely AFL, the shock jocks definitely, Murdoch not so sure - although he has some deniers like Bolt he believes in climate change himself apparenly

interesting the UK moving to introduce a price on carbon yesterday as well - do we follow the world or get left behind???

it doesn't work that way thought Secong - say you run a business in the renewable energy sector and you have a country like England getting ready to put a price on carbon and invest in what you have to offer vs a country like Australia that keeps arguing about what they should do - where do you invest and put your jobs???

business wants certainty and like most will admit a price on carbon is inevitable - the longer we wait the more opportunities we miss out on because they'll go where the decisions have been made instead

It was not a lie if she honestly believed it at the time. You are presuming that she said it knowing that if elected she would introduce it. How can you prove it was a lie as opposed to a change of position, because of the hung parliment?

surely you can accept that in the future the majority of the world's energy will be provided through renewable energy sources

1 - because the non-renewable ones are running out

2 - because more and more countries are putting a price on carbon therefore making the alternatives much more competitive

And finally, as AFL has clearly pointed out, Tony Abbott now (well this month anyway) accepts that climate change is real and that man is playing a part - it's no longer about that he says, it's about how we address it

So left cheering for the "it ain't real team" are yourself and a few others

i do believe the CC science is BS , inconclusive and as stated above 1 volcano spews and weve wasted trillions world wide , man has NO EFFECT on the weather , its been changing since wow ask the dinosaurs who had to shut down all the factories prior to that nasrt asteroid coming, cant remember what the press reported at the time, we are all doomed anyways ffs the sun is half way through its cycle , only a nother 5 billion years to go  , what then will we do?

And Julia Gillard last night pretty much confirms she'll desperately be splashing the cash on a Carbon Tax campaign - at the expense of the taxpayer. 

No need for a mandate says JuLIAR.  Just spend millions of public dollars and TRY in vein to manipulate the public thinking.  I mean even Independent and crucial lower house MP Tony Windsor has come out and slammed the PM for even contemplating this in addition to slamming the entire government's approach to this carbon tax. 

But hey, to the deluded, the anger isn't real out there in the community.  The usual bullsh1t is starting to filter through you know - "its the shock jocks" or "its the Murdock media". 

The denial is great.  Keep it coming comrades.  Keep it coming.
