A better than expected return on the Dutch of The Day yesterday at 16%, nice!

The going today is very mixed up, what is the case now is unlikely to be the case later with the ground, so we're looking to dodge a bullet with no Dutch of The Day today. 

I will hopefully be posting a Euro Special later today (time permitting), with my ideas and tips for the tournament.

There is no Dutch of The Day today, just nothing stands out and meets the criteria, so a day to avoid a bullet I reckon.

Hi Everyone,

A predicted return of 11% on our Dutch of The Day yesterday.  Here are the results to date.



Our Dutch bet today has an excellent return of approx 17%, so fingers crossed we don't lose any runners and we get the result we're looking for out of our five selected runners.  I can see AP doing the business on O'Callaghan Strand in this one, but I feel we've suitably eliminated the field enough to allow for any upsets should it fail to win.

What a weekend of gorgeous weather and great Racing, especially on Saturday in particular.  We provide daily rated races for our members and are currently on a steady capital growth of 3% per month. Saturday saw us bag two B Rated at juicy prices thus extending our profits, and an A Rated making 3/3 wins. Sunday the two short priced A Rated selections did the business for us, making it a great way to enjoy the weekend sunshine!

Hi Everyone,

We're looking for a long win run at the moment with as few bumps in the road as possible.  Given that our margins can sometimes be quite small I need to stick to my rules and remain selective, and unfortunately nothing meets the brief today.

Hi Everyone,

Just beaten on the line yesterday by a horse which hadn't ran three times to get its handicap mark, so it was unusual to see Archie Villain come from way back to snatch first spot, showing sudden improvement!  Also I did break a personal rule yesterday when tipping this race, and have learned a valuable lesson with these bets, and will be sticking to the rules from now on!  Had I listened to myself we would have simply dodged this bullet, but as it goes we just need another couple of decent wins and we're back on track again, so it's not the end of the world!

I've been getting a fair few emails about how to follow my advice and place a dutch bet.  I'd say to anyone looking to Dutch or follow my Dutch of the Day, have a look at my earlier blog last month as I put screen shots up, but also Google Dutch betting and you will find free calculators and a ton of explanations.  Betfair have made it easy for everyone with their brilliant multiples section allowing multiple horses to be backed in one race for a combined odds return, it's never been simpler to place a Dutch bet nowadays.

Here are the results so far which I'm kicking myself about for yesterday, but on the flip side if it had won I wouldn't have learned a valuable lesson.



There is no Dutch of The Day today unfortunately as their is no value in the race I'm targeting, so I'll be back tomorrow with a selection.
