Just beaten on the line yesterday by a horse which hadn't ran three times to get its handicap mark, so it was unusual to see Archie Villain come from way back to snatch first spot, showing sudden improvement! Also I did break a personal rule yesterday when tipping this race, and have learned a valuable lesson with these bets, and will be sticking to the rules from now on! Had I listened to myself we would have simply dodged this bullet, but as it goes we just need another couple of decent wins and we're back on track again, so it's not the end of the world!
I've been getting a fair few emails about how to follow my advice and place a dutch bet. Betfair have made it easy for everyone with their brilliant multiples section allowing multiple horses to be backed in one race for a combined odds return, it's never been simpler to place a Dutch bet nowadays.
Here are the results so far which I'm kicking myself about for yesterday, but on the flip side if it had won I wouldn't have learned a valuable lesson.
There is no Dutch of The Day today unfortunately as their is no value in the race I'm targeting, so I'll be back tomorrow with a selection.
