MYRETOWN posted a top figure of 122 when winning a three-runner contest by a wide margin at Wetherby last December, fell when leading at Windsor next time, and bounced back with a ready victory at Kelso last time out. Raced just four times over fences, the gelding is open to further improvement this afternoon, which will probably be needed if he is to land this wide-open 24-runner premier handicap chase. A 12-1 shot with several firms at the time of writing, those odds are big enough to keep me interested in the gelding as a betting proposition. Sporting Life.

I’m putting up Soleness in the 4.00 CH. beat a few of its rivals at Leopardstown last time and seems to be improving. Doubts about the favourite at Cheltenham, 8 runners, 11-1, each way. Any thoughts?

Good Captaincy on my part to ask FatP to use the wildcard but poor Captaincy to be a no show on Saturday (I had plans and I was out for the day)
