chewy11, thank you for your post on the selections thread and your understanding. Sometimes some rules may seem a bit petty but there is usually sound logic behind them, most importantly I try to be consistent with them.

When he won @Leicester LTO could well have been the only
horse to properly act on the going in fairness.Gone up 7LB
but Fisher takes off 5LB of that.The 2nd,Gorak was 2nd in
a 7F H'cap @Chester this week (82) btn 2Ls,didn't do the form
much harm.Drawn 19 today,can see this running a big race.

Yet to put a winner on the board myself (posted a wildcard winner) I'm having a number of bets today but pinpointing a winner for the team is always the tricky part. Looks a solid selection that one The Dealer. I like Outbreak in that race too.
I rarely look at a jumps card once the Flat season is underway but good luck with that one OTH.

finally had a trouble free run lto over C&D when ¾ lengths 2nd of 9 following on from 2 decent efforts in which he was denied a clear run in both, so, hoping for another trouble free run today
current odds 7/1 so I’ll go for 5pts EW

Metal Merchant was 3rd LTO off this mark btn just over 2Ls.
The 2nd Dark Thirty won a 7F H'cap @York the run after & the
wnr that day Saxon King is near the top of the mkt currently
in the 4.25 York today.Was last of 7 on his reappearance @Kemp'&
in that race was todays top weight Killybegs Warrior who was 2Ls
in front of him.Metal Merchant's 12LB better in with that today.
The fav,Covey's won well on his last 2 runs(Maiden & Novice Stks),
1/16 on in the Novice race of which 2 rnrs have ran since & have both
been btn (marks of 57 & 62).Hoping the better ground today will also see
a bit of improvement in Metal Merchant as he won @Ayr (1M Gd off 76) last
season.Around 20/1 got a good E/W shout in this today.

Not around this weekend, hoping for a good 2 days at the races. I've got the Derby down to 2 horses. Had some bits on Passenger in the Ante post market and a saver on Arrest. I will be going in again on Passenger at the course. Loved his debut win and he comes out of the Dante with lots of credit. I think that race might have taught him more than if he'd got a clear run and won comfortablely (which I'm confident he would have done) He's travelled strongly in his both his races and looks a well balanced type. I get the feeling connections have always thought very highly of him and If he gets the trip? He'll win the Derby. Hopefully Swad will remember to post a selection and to be fair he's done so the last couple of weeks. I hope Chewy or OTH can post a wildcard if needed. Good luck this weekend lads

Great work team...not including myself! Passenger ran like I am during this comp! Special mention for Sont who broke his duck for the season with a very tidy winner. After timing I know but I backed him and another in that race. I like Bob, he looked a pro in the paddock and it just looked like he'd done a bit of work after the race. Very nice horse. I can see the owners getting some decent offers for him from here and aboard. Let's hope they decline them. Well done Sont I can see you posting another winner this week now the floodgates have opened!

7.20 Wetherby - Sophia's Starlight.(Win)
Tried to make all @Carlisle LTO (1M  off 70) ran out of it late on ,
btn just over 1L runs off the same here but Stammers claimed 3LB,he's
now lost that.Drop back to 7F tonight shouldn't be a problem & is still
lightly raced.Back against her own sex aswell in this.More than likely
will be up with the pace if her last 2 starts are anything to go by &
could be hard to peg back if leading.
