TC was disappointing last night to not place at least in what was a run of the mill handicap. Current connections forked out 200k for the horse and that's not looking very good business.

Unlucky stu, so close to a place. Good luck nocturnal. Hindsight is a great thing but should have followed my instinct and played in the 2.25, never mind, too late now.

Down to a choice of two so have plumped for Strawberry Rock in the 4.35 race, ran a superby race when winning his Maiden at Beverley, then upped in distance at Kemptons aw, ran a better race than I'd first thought, finishing third, the second and fourth have come out to win next time out, hus handicap mark of 80 looks about right, gets the 3you wfa allowance, backed this one last night at 3/1, a bit shorter now, fingers crossed.

Yep ..... I sort of knew that whatever I picked today was doomed.
Was up up 6am,spent 6 hrs on haydock/newmarket mainly,both of my original selections at haydock were pulled out this morning,one had been p,wised overnight. As Chav alluded to,canny outfit,their record at Ripon is consistent to say the least,another lesson for me there,try and avoid selections after 3-00pm on the saturday. Week 1 so plenty time to turn it around,really well done to all the team so far,been a pleasure. |
