I had a class 5 4yo+ hcp in mind for Enthaar 5 EW (6:15 Chelmsford) but there is a drought of these races at this time.
The field has cut up so the draw shouldn't be an issue, PJ seems to get on well with the horse and is reacquainted. This is a class 4 but is not that different on ratings from last run when denied by a 3yo at Kempton. Horse has run well at the track each time it's showed up there and won over CD and is 2lb lower than last win in January. A slight concern has been it's tendency to win from a moderate looking last run with a conditions change but I hope the intent is there tonight as it ticks a lot of boxes. A fly in the ointment away from the fav could be Mick's runner who finally gets a bit of ease from the handicapper and has CP's on tonight, has showed no early zest for Mick so far in it's races but this headgear may well perk it up with Atzeni coming in for the ride, I wouldn't be surprised to see a more prominent position and has some dangerous form in the book, hopefully no rabbit pulled from hat tonight though! |

I'm hopeful rather than confident Tangle been waiting ages for Enthaar but it's not really the race I pictured , relieved it didn't win last time when runner up at a big price and conditions are absolutely fine just hope it's on another going night for SCW.

It's the nonners that made me have a go Tangle, drawn in 13 but high draws decimated now.
It doesn't look the strongest Class 4 hopefully so fingers crossed it backs up that last effort it's in it's little window of opportunity hcp mark wise but usually pops up in a class 5 and there are plenty of weak enough 4yo+ races in the coming weeks. Would give it one more chance if it doesn't do the biz tonight as have not backed it since that Kempton win you were talking about when you missed it but it would be at the conditions I have outlined as optimum only. |

No dice, striding, draw is playing a big role at Chelmsford.

Rabbit pulled wd mick. Enthaar had to use up far too much wide early but I'm not sure I'll bother with it again. When I saw it was 20.0 I wasn't hopeful. ![]() |
