Just found 1 too good tonight NEC but great effort by it for 2nd place and EW pts.
Shame there were no 4up hcps on the AW I did look at the schedule on BHA 2/3 weeks back because there would be some weaker races for sure without a lurking unexposed 3yo in them like Stoute's there. UL |

Tugay
Bay Of Naples back at Wolves tomorrow (5:20) Will look at race tomorrow, just a shame there aren't any 4yo+ races about on the AW for it.Trainer as noted before is very good at reviving others horses after getting their marks down and was given plenty enough to do from it's position last time when 3rd behind a couple of 3yo's.Trainer has excellent record at Wolves when running them back to back races there after a placed effort lto. It's probably decently handicapped just a case of price vs the risk of unexposed lurkers at conditions. |

Took a chance, but I thought the hose didn’t stay on the surface, didn’t like fav.

Tim's in the 7:20 is very interesting like the fav could have a few lbs to play with now.
Tim been patient with it, definitely needs a trip further than the last twice (season return probably wasn't race fit). Decent chance on sire it will handle surface but hopefully something stronger later this week so pass. A blow out today would surely be back at Newcastle over same trip. |

I had a couple of choices today Hollie Doyle should get a good spin round on Power Of States in the 8:00 Chelmsford bit of an eyecatcher at Chester when J Doyle got in all sorts of bother, has won at this track and this CD should be spot on (btn sht hd in a race that worked out well for the grade).
The other is Just Hubert in the CV at Newmarket. No fears for the trip and I think it's been shaping for a big tilt at a race like this. This is soft ground though and though there's no strong evidence it won't suit it's best form has not been on it.So whilst a big price may negate this risk for the comp I'm siding with Hollie today.Unfortunate being a saturday can't wait to see the late market but that's how it is. 8:00 Chelmsford Power Of States 10 win Gl Tugay and out other players ![]() |

I told my Mole in The Williams Barn he has one more chance or he is dead meat....So he tells me to keep the faith and have a good each way bet on Hector De Sivola 1.40 Chepstow 15-1 on here.

What a terrible price that ended up 6/4 was 3/1 on here when put up with only a 4.6% deduction on nonner after.

Just as well it wasn't less than 3/1 earlier Tangle I'd have gone nowhere near it.

No one posted this week, so far, all saving up for a nice priced winner at Ascot no doubt.
Give it some Teddy 2.48 Haydock, gone EW. May not have the class of the two 3yo fans but the going will certainly suit, he's had a record of 3/3 in October and 1m is his distance, usually wins at Redcar over the straight mile but has won round a bend at Ripon, Williams has booked Kingscote to ride who has a great record here. Hopeful at about 9/1,if he doesn't quite get there today has 2 more meetings gs at Redcar this season to win, only 2 runs this year so is one of the freshest. |

No one posted this week, so far,
That's what I thought Stew but tis not the case! ![]() Commiserations Wonders and glentoby and to yourself, we do have 5 pick left. I have one this evening at Newcastle Vive La Difference I have been tracking for a while and it has it's conditions back on a good mark, I think it's been given plenty to do on turf recently but this stiff mile at Newcastle is right up it's street. James Sullivan has a good record for the yard on turf but not on the AW which is a slight concern. The bigger worry for me is this horse is a very strong travelling type on the brink of doing too much in it's races but it has won races plenty keen enough. It's probably essential that he gets a pace to settle off (as best he does) for a late charge as he just keeps rolling over this test.I'm not convinced the pace here is going to be all that tonight in this race so I wouldn't punt it pre race but see what the crack is in running. There are horses here in a slow run race that may be better suited as some unexposed are going up in trip. Will see what the late market is for it (7:30 race) it's pointless putting it up now. I have nothing tomorrow so would be looking for a price in a hcp somewhere If I don't play tonight's runner as shorties are no good for us this round as it stands. |
