Anther day, another stonking nap. I told you sonofshinner had found his old mojo and just to prove it he banged in  a 20/1 humdinger in the form of Ernest,  his fourth in six. Needless to say, that rocketed him 17 places skywards to third place! That's put the cat among the sleepy top table pigeons. Very well done sir!

I say sleepy, well they all were bar Fidway, who's on a bit of a roll himself, banging in his sixth winner in the last eight at 13/8. Didn't shift from fifth though. Neither did Whippin Piccadilly from sixth after a 6/4 strike.

Once posy had been rescued from the devil's playgound in Div 1 (delusions of grandeur? ) it was pleasing to see it was all worth it, with Giant Sequoia coming home at 4/1 to shoot our flowery one up eight to 16th. Much lower down IndyHarry scored his second on the trot, Saved My Bacon at 3/1, to inch him up five towards the light and avoid ending the month with egg on his face.  Back up at the top alleged22 scored his second straight, Sub Lieutenant at 7/2, to go up one to eighth.

In other results, warhan slipped one to ninth with 11/4, buffythebookieslayer was up seven to the top half with 11/4, and motseel was back to his odds-on best to gain a couple of spots to 12th.
